That draft may turn out to be one of the best.

If redone, it would probably look like this: James, Wade, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony, Kirk Hinrich and Chris Kaman.

All of them could be All-Stars, with other All-Star possibilities including Josh Howard, the last pick in the first round, Boris Diaw, David West, T.J. Ford and perhaps Mickael Pietrus. Darko Milicic was No. 2 overall and at just 20 years old still may develop into a contributor.

We could have traded down and drafted Kaman and Josh Howard. Otherwise I'd be comfortable just pulling a name outta the hat! :spy:

Hat, what is your affection for that "spy guy"? What about "yo" guy? They both wear hats.

I would have drafted Bosh straight up and made him the 3rd big rather than signing Dyess.
