For all those years that we suffered through Andre Ware, Rodney Pete, Erik Kramer, Scott Mitchell, Charlie Batch, Mike McMahon, Joey Harrington.

And, for all those sad leaders like Wayne Fontes, Gary Moeller, Bobby Ross, Marty Morhinwheg and Steve Mariucci.

There was one constant, rock solid part of the lions. Those boys could kick. From Eddie Murray to Jason Hanson, the lions had a great kick-off/fg/pat game.

Come on Remy, what the hell? Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, what a brutal game. On the bright side, at least that missed PAT wasn't the difference in the game!

Its really amazing how consistently bad one team can be. My friends from Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore and New York don't understand why I was never really a big NFL fan, especially when I LOVE college football.

So, I remind them. At age 25, the Lions have won 1 playoff game in my ENTIRE lifetime.

Every professional league has one team that just seems to be cursed. The Lions are on of them. :frusty:

I did a calculation and determined that in 2004, 35% of the Lion's scoring was off of Hanson's foot. How can you not have a backup for 1/3 of your offense?

If we only had Leroy Hoard, then maybe we would have a running game to set up the kicking game.
