Two-part poll:
Part one: Which Lions team will show up this Sunday in Tampa?

The team that played Green Bay, the team that got demolished by Chicago or something in between the two?

Part two: Who will win the game?

Lions will win because thats exactly what we won't expect.

Then we will lose because we will raise our expecatations and be right back where we started. :frusty:

It's a vicious cycle, but we do it because we want to believe that this organization is destined for better things regardless of what history has shown us.

The team that got demolished in Chicago is the team we are going to see against Tampa Bay. The Lions were exposed. They can't pick up the blitz on offense and the defense can't stop the run. Until they can either pick up the blitz or make the defense pay by going deep early and often (unlikely to happen) they are going to see a steady dose of Joey getting face planted about 7 times a game every week from now on. The defense stays on the field too long with the offensive problems so they run out of gas and can't stop anybody to save their lives.

Detroit will play better than they did against Chicago, but only because they have two weeks to sit around and also they can't play any worse...can they? Still, they will lose without putting up much resistance. Let's see...Detroit's Ford against Tampa Bay's Cadillac. The one Ford I owned was unreliable. Detroit has given me no reason to believe they can beat a good team. They have only shown that they can beat very bad teams half the time. Tampa is a pretty good team.

This time, I'm staying off the bandwagon. I've already written them off.

I don't think the Lions stand a chance against Tampa Bay's defense. I have a bad feeling that It's going to be a long day for Joey. :mad:

But, it's nice being first in the division, even though we had nothing to do with it. I'm just glad the rest of the division is as bad as we are.:)

lions win only because tampa bay can't start 4-0, it's against their nature ;D

And if Sparty can go 4-0 then Tampa can too! ;)

Sorry but I don't see the Lions winning this one to many holes to patch up over the bye.But it would be typical if they did win.

I say if the recievers run the wrong route or hell anyone screws up they get a brick thrown at them when they get back to the sideline.

The Lions played a good game. They didn't get fancy on Off. and let the Dee make plays. Almost pulled it out.:)
