The Detroit Lions signed second-round draft pick Daniel Bullocks on Saturday to a four-year deal. The 6-foot, 212-pound safety from Nebraska was selected with the 40th pick in this year's draft. We need Bullocks to may some big plays. Not just be an excellent tackler.

Sims is still unsigned though. This will be one of the first times in recent history that the Lions aren't all signed in time for camp.

I think those slotted in front of him need to go first.

I'm glad Bullocks signed. If he's going to be our starting S, he needs all the reps he can get.

Hopefully Sims will be close behind. The Lions have a good track record of getting the guys in on time.

I think Cody and Mike Williams were the only recent guys that weren't signed by reporting time. But I believe they each only missed the morning practice of the first day.

Everything I've read, BMW is in trouble of making the team.
