Im still in the process of moving to RicFlair country, so my posts have been slow. But all hail the BengalCats who own the best 111 game start in team history. They have clinched the playoffs because there is no way they cant win 26 of their next 51 games(which would give them a 101-61record). The Chisoxers would have to go 37-24 MINIMUM over the same stretch to beat us. That is a .606 winning pct. They are only playing .596 ball now. The tigers are already 5-1 this month so they can finish the next 23 games at 14-9 and sept at 16-10 MINIMUM to give them an astounding 105 WINS!! Are yall happy now??? The numbers dont lie. This week we will have a playoff practice against the TwinSox so i hope we work on moving the runners over with less than 1 out and trying to steal more bases. A 4-3 week (includes yesterday) would be fine with me, if we play well.

'Sup brudder man. I have been following the Tigers on the Foxsports gametrax whenever they are playing and I am on line.
With this weekend's sweep of the Tribe, I believe they can handle and hold back the other central foes and ride this one to the division crown., so.... I am pre-ordering my champagne now:eyebrows:
My only concern is the Bosox and Stankees....can we get past either one of them in the first round if we have to play the wild card winner??? or will we play the Angels if their record is not as good as the Wild card..somebody 'splain it to me
I mean the Tigers are getting props for having the best record, but all the emphasis is on which team will grab the wild card spot and be the one to knock of the possible pretenders in the Tigers.....:confused:

They just keep beating up on every team they play, and we are beating up the twins right now (8-3 in the 8th). Miner did very well is his start.

Robertson starts tonight for the Tigs, and liriano (twins pitcher) is on DL indefinetly. Hopefully the Tigers can put another beating on the twins.
Also, I just seen a cool video on the tigers highlght reels this season.

Thanks Bro..Also for us outtatowners , I found out u can hear the Tigers on http://thegamelive.com go to the Detroit , then FLINT RADIO link and you can listen on line. They do ask for a donation (which I will pay next week) but if u dont, u dont. Its like PBS or NPR. I always give $20-$100 a year.

The Tigers have lost two in a row, (yesterday was a tough one because it was so close). I hope they can get back on track. It's not their pitching, because there starters have been great. It has been their hitting, only scoring three or four runs a game. The next road trip is crucial, six-game trip to Chicago and Boston. Those are the strongest teams the Tigers will have faced back-to-back on the road this season. Hopeully they pull through the road trip with a winning record.

The Red sox are really struggling. So I'm figuring we can squeeze 2 of 3 there.
We are up 8.5 on the White Sox. If we win one we are still up 7.5, which is fine, but two wins are certainly possible. Anything but a sweep their way and we maintain a nice lead.

BroHQ, I was able to go to the following website:
http://www.wtrxsports.com/misc14170.asp and pick up the Tigers games without anyone asking for a donation...
The thing is that they lost the two games I listened to on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I figured I may be a jinx:fingerscr

Here is a nice Jim Leyland article. I like how he keeps the attention on the players (where it belongs) and off of himself.

Stupid errors are killing the tigers right now. They have at least two errors in almost all their games, and even a couple three error days the past week or so. Their offense has been horrible to go along with it, three hits in the first game when playing the sox, and three runs in the second game to the sox won't get it done. I just hope they don't leave Chicago getting swept:fingerscr

Nah, but a win today would go a long way. A 7.5 game lead seems a much larger cushion than 5.5.
I'm not going to be overly concerned unless the lead falls below 4 games.
Go Get em' Tigers!

The Tigers' 3-8 record vs. the ChiSox concerns me. They've played poorly against the A.L. East top teams, too. Have looked outclassed. Other than that, not much to complain about. Need a big game from Miner today. Lotsa pressure on the young man.

I'd rather the pressure be on Thames, Monroe and Young.

Not sure the Tigers can outscore Chicago over a 7-game series. I guess I'm already thinking playoffs. Tigers gotta beat 'em with good pitching. I missed yesterday's game. I heard Kenny got the big guns out but didn't get much defensive backup.

They lost 7-3, another error for the tigers in this game. Miner got crushed in the first two innings, with 59 pitches. All the fans in the sox crowd had brooms, for SWEEP. Hopefully it turns around in Boston.

No time to panic yet, but if they don't win the Bosox series, then the Wild card race gets tighter as both pair of Sox are within striking distance and the Tigers could be in a catfight all the way to the end.
Hope the nerves aren't getting to them. I know the errors have been a key part of the losses, but what happen to the offense? No more than 4 runs in any of the five losses....:frusty:
GO TIGERS!!!:fingerscr
