Anyone feel like making predictions for the World Championships? The first elimination games are this weekend. No more group play, now it's really win or go home, not like the endless 4 out of 7 series in the NBA, but like the Sweet 16 in NCAA. Should be some urgency and intensity in these games. Maybe a few upsets.

I can't stand Ginobili with all that dramatic flopping around trying to draw fouls. But I really like the passing game of Argentina and everyone else on that team. And I have kind of a basketball crush on Nocioni. So I'm going for Argentina to win this year, because I like their team game more than the USA game.

I know almost nothing about this and my picks should confirm that.

Well, so far 1 out of 4 ain't bad. I really wanted to see Darko play some more, so I'm over it that they lost. :mad: I'm very fascinated with Darko right now. On the positive side, our one Piston is still in this thing!
