The tattered remains of the forums sinister starch was discovered next to his sith style double bladed lightsaber early this morning. "I didn't think anyone could slice so thin," remarked the sheriff, "I'm a kettle chip guy myself. mmmm, crunchy."
Police found the letter S at the crime scene.
"This letter S was found a few feet from where the chips were," said the forensics/ jedi master, "someone scratched the word 'lippy' under that. We think Darth was killed because he talked to much. Either that or he was killed for cracking the keyword which authorities knew to be 'jumperses'"

Oh that's just mean.
Luckily, before I died, I was able to get my message off (kinda like Obi wan speaking from the beyond). I hope the person I left the message with takes care of it as I asked. The hopes of the force rest with him.

I got some Southwest salsa and cucumber slices. Some beer would be helpful.
Are these the only letters now: E, S, S ?
Now you're a possisble suspect Slip? Very honest.

Oh what the heck?!?!?!
Man, I suck at this detective work crap. I think I'm going to become a male stripper instead.
I'm starting to think that maybe I'm the killer!

just poking fun at darth guys. The Low WAS the murderer. GREAT job with the detective work. Terrible job getting together to vote him off.
I'll recap the game and set up murder@pf.com2

Slippy, you are killin' me. Of course I was rules bound not to help people solve the case once I was hung. However, this did not prevent me from trying to solve it myself in between watching the Pistons win multiple consecutive NBA championships in Pistons Heaven.
I have been looking for the Darth murder post all morning. Of course I could not find one!!!! I have searched on Darth, Darth Tater, Tater, Tate, spud, legume, fries, mashed...etc....
Slippy...you must answer for this!

 awesome slippy...
one procedural question, however. did The Low really kill me with that post in which my name appears in abbreviated form ("prof") as part of another word "professional")? a clarification might be good prior to game 2.

I thought someone else did it. I can't believe it was The Low. This is really going to bother me.

think we'll try it out with needing to include the name but you can abbreviate, truncate, or otherwise disguise the name of the victi (i.e. writing THE LOWest bidder...just bold it when PM'ing the GM so that he/she knows who you intend to kill). the keyword must be intact.
This part of the rules was exemplified in the above ...example. see the murder@pf.com thread for the list of rules. However, a new set of clue requirements will be coming out for the second edition. Without the seasonal post traffic, it was way too easy to single out the murderer. The Low did a great job in the first post but was painted into the corner by the second.
I am still trying to strike a balance between ease of killing and creativity with ease of discovering the murderer and overall fairness.

Honestly i figured the people who fingered the Low and the keyword jumpers would figure out the clue: S with the letters "lippy" was hogwash and call foul play. And at least vote unanimously to vote me for the gallows. I guess I made a judgemental error.

I thought that part was just poking fun at Darth, but I thought the rest was real.
I did notice that your name was on the voting list this time and thought that was odd.
Oh well, I'm glad I had plans tonight otherwise I probably would have been in the same boat as Aurora.
