5-11, and that's being nice. And they still won't fire Millen.

4 -12.

So much for my pre-season optimism. But I do believe in the coach. Just can Millen and we can have a nice squad in a couple years.

Oh, Lions fans are so pitiful.

7-9

That's what I have to say.

And that'll be exciting.

I wish I could see them at least breaking even, but I just cannot. There just does not seem to be an end to their woes.

7 - 9

is about the best I can see happening.

I'm going with 6-10, but I could see them going anywhere from 4-12 to 9-7. I'd be happy with 8-8 this season with solid execution, hard work and few mistakes.

The breakdown:

Seahawks - embarrassing loss, give up 30+ points. 0-1

@ Bears - embarrassing loss, can't see them scoring more than 10 points - and that's being kind. I'm thinking more like 1 or 2 Hanson FGs. 0-2

Packers - always play well at home against the pack. 1-2

@ Rams - the return of Mike Martz. I can see them pulling this one out for some reason. 2-2

@ Vikings - they always find a way to lose in Minny. 2-3

Buffalo - a winnable game, the only question is, will they? 3-3

@ Jets - No Martin, No Abraham, Pennington will be injured by now. 4-3

Bye Week - Another winnable game

ATL - If Vick is still healthy, I like the Falcons. 4-4

49ers - If they lose this game, I'm officially no longer a fan. 5-4

@ Arizona - Cards might be the most improved team in the League. 5-5

Dolphins - the return of Harrington, Wilkinson & Goodman on Thanksgiving. 5-6

@ NE - Pats have lost a step, but their still 10 steps ahead of the Lions. Especially at home in Dec. 5-7

Vikings - I'm taking home field for this one. 6-7

@ GB - Hahahaha, yeah right. Lambeau in Dec. 6-8

Bears - 0-2 against da bears. 6-9

@ Dallas - Will T.O. still be around? Either way, its a Lions L. 6-10

He should soon be a former sports illustrated guy after that.

I concur with that. He must have made these predictions before the preseason started. Looking at the schedule there are six automatic losses and the Lions will figure out a way to lose the other 4 winnable games, so I predict 6-10. :tsk:

Great breakdown Jammer. Looking at this schedule, I'm upping my vote big time from 4-12 (as posted earlier) to 7-9. I pretty much agree with your stuff, but think we lose to L.A. and beat Atlanta. Also beat the Dolphins on Turkey day.

So my official prediction is now 7-9

Those were the 3 games that I thought were most likely to go either way. I can see us losing against the St.Louis (not L.A.:P) Rams. I can see us beating ATL as well, but we beat them on the road a season or two ago, so I didn't want to push my luck and predict a W again.

The Lions usually play well on turkey day and Miami isn't the greatest team in the world, so that's a very winnable game as well.

Nah... Miami will use the secret weapon...

HARRINGTON!

And then the home crowd will start booing the away team, and the home team (Lions) will get all confused, and fold under all of that positive energy.

Jamm, I had a counter response to your predictions post but puter was so f'ed it didn't post. Now it's too late.
As for the Turkey day game don't forget Stockcar McDodo.
Looks like a "under game".

I didn't forget about him, but I couldn't find him on their roster, so I didn't include him. Is he still on their team?

Ok based on todays defensive loss (41 points). I am revising my predictions to 3-13 with probable victories over Dolphins, 49'rs, and Bills. I will give them an outside chance to beat the Cardinals too..

They offense is starting to come around, but that secondary is atrocious.:ohwell: :brick:

And that's being opptomistic... it looks like wins against the 49'ers & Dolphins... course there's always that one anomaly... 3-13 might get the #1 pick... so which WR will it be :^)
Even the Fords have a limit.... Millen is gone by next year or they'll face anarchy... the fans may be dumb but they're not stupid. :wedgie:
