Detroit Lions Site: Lions Sign WR Az-Zahir Hakim (http://www.detroitlions.com/document_display.cfm?document_id=448107)

I like the move. The contract isn't guaranteed and he adds insurance incase of injury or if Mike Williams continues to not pan out.

He looked decent in N.O. last season and knows Mike Martz's system well.

It's too bad Detroit didn't draft a fast, young, tall WR a few years back that could be stepping it up right now.

LOL! Only the Fords+Millen could go 0-for-3 with back2back2back high-end first rounders that SUCK!

It ain't the players or the coach...it's the front office that drags the team down...year-in & year-out.

Az-Zahir Hakim hopes that a reunion with Mike Martz leads to a career resurgence.

How many freaking WR's do we need?? Only 4 can play at a time and we have Tight End's that can catch the ball down the field.

This doesn't speak well of managements opinion of Mike Williams. Not that anyone is shocked by that of course. Sad state of a team those Lion's. I do like how our team played D though. I was impressed. Now we just need to get our offense going. Maybe I should have tried out for quarterback or something. I know I wouldn't have thrown for fewer touchdowns than Kitna last game.

Tom Kowalski just said on his radio show that Hakim will play Flanker, not the slow position.
