Our first Game Chat this fall opens up for Game 2 of the Lions 2006 NFL season.

Game Chat will be open at 12:30 PM EST and close at 5:00 PM EST.

All members are welcome!

The link to the Chat is HERE (http://www.pistonsforum.com/misc.php?do=flashchat), or you can access it by clicking on the Quick Links option on the top menu bar, and then click FLASHCHAT.

Everyone should be running the latest version of Adobe/Macromedia Flash.

You can get it here...

If you were a chatter last season, some changes have been made, and you may wish to delete the OLD PF.com flash cookie on your computer by following the information below.

If you need to reset your chat options or experience a problem with settings, try deleting the Flash Cookie on your local PC. These are not stored with your typical web cookies, but in a different location and are easily administered by going to the Macromedia site (the makers of Flash/Shockwave) and using their tool.

Here is a quick movie I whipped up to show how. You only need to select the pistonsforum.com cookie. The other ones at your own discretion. They have no bearing on this site.

Example movie (http://www.pistonsforum.com/xmicro/deletecookie.html)

And here is the link to the cookie management tool.

The Lions are the reason chat rooms were created.

Lions Chat: "Lions fans helping Lions fans come to grips with being a Lions fan one loss at a time."

I'll be there.

Is it a PG13 room? I'm not sure I can make it 5 minutes without :censored::mad2::rant::swear2::angrysoapbox:...... :sorry:

Yeah, I really feel you on that. I've really had to keep it in check since my daughter was born. I'm a huge fan of all sports, but no team frustrates me more than the Lions.:frusty:

Usually my wife takes our daughter out for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon.

I'll check in even though I'll be following the game online. Also, the Tigers will be on at that time, I think.

Wow, now that`s real homers, or just bored out of your minds, to be in Lions chat. Maybe just an outlet.

Having said that, if the Lions` game was on here in DC, I would probably watch, for a minute at least. I`ll stop in to hear what you guys think of the pounding the Bears will put on them though.

Good turnout, but it looks like our lowly Lions have rendered the entire forum speechless. :(

Agreed.

I really enjoyed the conversation throughout the game.:thumb[1]:

The game itself...that's another matter entirely. :angrysoapbox:

I occasionally wondered last year what it would be like to be in the chat room for most of the games of a really, really bad team's season. I guess it isn't quite as bad in football because there are such a small number of games, compared to basketball, but still, any Knicks chat rooms out there have to get depressing after a while. Although commiserating with fellow fans probably takes some of the sting out of it.
