Please leave feedback as to when you'd like to have a draft. Those who are unable to attend will need to update their ranking list so that their selections are autodrafted. Draft order will be determined randomnly prior to Draft.

I am +5 hours on you guys (London), so I voted for a weekend during the day (your time). However, I will attend the live draft no matter what time.

Same deal as the other league. Weekday night after 8 works best for me, or Sat the 28th.

I'd really like to participate, and I really can't until 9:00 pm EST (got to put the small children in bed). Any day except for Sunday the 29th works for me.

Anyone want to take a stab at predicting the top 10 draft picks in order of selection? :)

No, but I can see Darko going no later than round 2 or 3.

In the Advanced League, Jammer? I dunno, man.

Hey, if someone in Novices is crazy enough to draft him there, I'm going on record right now as saying it should bear NO reflection whatsoever on our league as a whole.

You guys all know how Jay and 16 are. They would draft Darko #1 in fantasy hockey if they were able.. We are like the U.S.A. We take the sick, the delusional, and the DHOF's.

Hell.. we even take cross dressers. Linwood signed up last week.:caked:

If Darko is still available in the 2nd round over at Novice league, I will definitely take him. I know I can get Jay and 16 in a bidding war for his "potential" services, and walk away with 3 or 4 great players.

If he is gone, I will look for Delfino. See above.

I'm not saying he should go that high, but I can see it happening. OK, maybe not 2nd round, but 3rd-5th. It all depends on how fast C's go. There aren't many great ones out there and he also plays PF which puts him ahead of several guys that are only C eligible, IMO.

Wow, this is the first time I looked at the rankings. Ben is only eligible at C right now. That's surprising. There are actually several surprises on that list, as far as ranking, now that I look at it.

Hmmm....

In the Advanced League I would think that Darko would probably come off the board in the 4th or 5th round. Big Men that can block shots and shoot a decent % come at a premium.

Yeah. I think that's a reasonable gamble. He could pay huge dividends. I just wouldn't chance it earlier than that.

Honestly, I think he'll go first round in our league. I'll be shocked if he isn't gone by the second round. Why not? Those guys love him and fantasy leagues are about having fun.

We aren't about having fun in the advanced league. See last seasons lack of smack talk and total concentration. We are about crushing people, specially Canadians.:ner-ner: It should be fun maybe the guys who were in novice last year and moved up can get us going verbally.

You can count on it Big Daddy. I've already been telling Motown that it's pointless for him to do any research. It's a foregone conclusion that I am going to win this league. You are all just spectators to the greatest fantasy season ever. MINE.

We all have our own definitions of fun.

For example:

Slippy defines fun as: drafting guys like Okafor in the first round and begging fellow Gm's to take him off of his hands.

Linwood defines fun as: Watching the injury list day and night wondering when a member of his squad might become available to actually play. Also dropping players and watching them become stars overnight.

Roscoe defines fun as: building a competitive squad, only to trade a stud for Ron Artest. While the trade is in Yahoo limbo, Artest loses his mind and Micro's squad starts thinking about next year.

Webz defines fun as: dominating the league all season only to have the bridesmaid steal the glory in the last week, and spending all offseason sending nasty emails to the Yahoo executives about their playoff system.

Babbs defines fun as: Drafting a team. Setting the lineup in the first week. Then watching how his original roster and original lineup fare for the remainder of the year. Not very well, thank you very much.

Pastor defines fun as: wheeling and dealing every day. This guy should sell used cars. Once the Better Business Bureau gets involved...well, I guess you would be surprised at the things that come out of a "Pastors" mouth.

Darth defines fun as: Making fun of fellow GM's and taking home the SHIP Baby. It's all about the SHIP! Darth is gonna repeat in novices next year while doing a little community service for Roscoe to make up for past transgressions. Then next year I'll show you so called experts what it's all about.

Darth to repeat in 2007!

Hey Roscoe, will I get another banner?:gift:

Sorry Webz, something had to give and I had to work in the scheduling around two other drafts. This was the only time where absolutely every one who voted was available. I guess all I can suggest is to take a nap before the festivities and visit Starbucks. :sorry:

Hey Mo,

When will the draft order be announced for Advanced league?

In the Yahoo leagues, the draft order is randomized just prior to the draft. You won't know until you log into the live draft what draft position you've actually been assigned to.

hopefully my #1 pick Labron will have a banner year stat wise, but the rest of his team will suffer and allow the Pistons to retain the # 1 spot in the Central even if the Bulls have upgraded.

i took some chances on a couple rookies that I hope will have a breakout first season like Chris Paul, in Rudy Gay and Raton Rondo. :noidea:

If their coaches don't give them any PT in the first two weeks they will be waived faster than....

Also took two guys who were injured last year in Nene and T-Mac :nailbiting:. hopefully their rehabilitations have been worthy these picks.:fingerscr

What makes Lebran such a good pick is he gives you all categories plus he shoots around 50%.

I wonder why Nash is not more popular. I was going to take him with my 10th pick but someone else grabbed him at I think 9. He gives you assists, points, 3's, decent FG% and excellent FT shooting.

I will miss Ray Allen from last season. He helped me win almost every 3-pt category.

Its cos Nash sucks in steals, which is one of the big reasons you get PG's. If he got between 1.5-2.0 steals a game he would be top 5.

This may have been the most balanced draft I've been a part of. Excellent job by the GMs. Only noticed a couple questionable draft mistakes. You fellas proved why this is called the Advanced League. :thumb[1]:

I have alot of work ahead of me to seperate from the group. Time to get busy. :reading:
