If forward Krys Kolanos makes the Red Wings, it won't be because of his reputation.
Coach Mike Babcock said Kolanos, 25, arrived with a reputation for "being a nonworker."
I've never even heard of this guy before. But if he breaks into the line-up, he's got good size. But the roster is pretty close to being set, so it'd be a stretch.
I really don't know if the guy is a grinding type of player, or a scorer, or what... but I'd assume that being selected 19th overall in 2000, some one was hoping he'd be a scorer. His stats don't really show much. (http://www.nhl.com/players/8468499.html)
