It's okay..you jinxed yourself.
I've completed the MC Jammer Pants sweep. Of course, you might not even recognize me after the MainManJoeD defeat...but I did comeback and whip that bootie!
Looks like me and Aurora stand on top.
Next week we will have a surprise for the members of Open League to spice it up a bit. There appears to be a lack of enthusiasm. Its not my fault I'm mopping the floor with you guys. ;)

So, you have a 2 game lead on me, it`s no biggie. I will let you taste first place for a bit, enjoy while you can.
I remember being the laughing stock on Draft Day only to emerge as one of the elite teams in this league.
Auro, if Ron, Ron and Ginobili would have played all week the results would have been different. Good week homegirl, we will meet again.

Dlev, you and I both got messed up with the live draft, but I think we did ok all things considered.
I know I am really happy to end up with Yao Ming and Paul Pierce. If my trade with slippy for the injured David West materializes into something tangible, I think my team can make a lot of noise!

I was literally 2 seconds away from PMing you about that. This is the first time I've checked the league this week. I didn't even know I who I was matched up against until just now. I took a peek to see what kind of players you had and saw that your roster wasn't set.

Up 5-4 on MillenTime.
I'm only going to play Yao tonight and sit a half dozen guys. I really just need 2 or 3 blocks and +.500 FG% from the big guy to seal this victory and with Sheed, JRich and DWest out, I'll take 5-4 over a winning team anyday.
Man, if I had my guys healthy, I would run wild on this league. And to think I traded Mike Miller for nothing and Ben Gordon for just a little more.
TheMicrowaves are going to be formidable in January.

FIRE BILLY KING!!!!! How can he just sit Iverson and be like I can wait to deal him after the All Star break. This is blatant tanking if I have ever seen it. Philly will not win another 5 games if they are allowed to do this.

I don't really like the playoffs for fantasy b-ball as it does not reward regular season play but I'll be prepared anyway, believe that. Last year was my worst performance ever in fantasy b-ball. Looks like they have a redirection problem that occurs after your password is authenticated. Check your URL. The URL is duplicated in the address bar making it impossible to resolve to the correct page. What I've been doing lately is going to Yahoo's main page, logging in and following the links to the Yahoo fantasy sports page. Its a bit of hassle, but it at least gets you in.

Looks like I will never get in the top tier...more injuries again as I had to waive R Jefferson because he decided to have voluntary surgery on his ankle an he could be down for a month. If I had known about that earlier, I would have grabbed McDyess before Micro did. Had to settle for Turkulgo instead.
Grant Hill jammed his pinky over the weekend and could miss the next few games and now I hear that Wade may sit another game because of an ankle injury suffered yesterday.
Have already missed several "stat" possibilities, because of injuries to Wade, Hughes, Joe Johnson and Villinueva, who I held on to for to long before waiving him. Still got a half seaon to try to make up the difference, but maybe I should throw up the flag now:yield:

Dang it man, I'm so sick of losing. It seems like I've been waiting years to get healthy. If I can just limp into the playoffs I've got a good shot.
I reckon I've got a sleeper team here. I was last after the first month but I've been clawing my way back, and hopefully i can take you out this week or not lose too much ground on that 6th place.

Okay Yoda. lol.
Obviously my complaint isn't with Yao Ming or Wally Z, who consequently are the only injured players I picked up during my run of bad luck. My issue is the rest of my healthy players that bit the dust. Strategically it made since to pick up Yao Ming when the rest of my team was healthy and I was sitting in first place. Wally Z even made sense at the time considering he was on his way back.
My problem was Redd, Tinsley, Boozer, Kaman, Ford, Iverson....Tony Allen who was lost for the season.....Peja...who was lost for the season.
That's alot to recover from.
But I still rise.
...and I will win the championship...oh great Yoda. ;)

Built for the playoffs hey Motown? You're going to have to make it there first! You have now been dragged down into the scrap-fest, and all of us down here have had a lot more experience!
I'm issuing you a Deputy Snaq-like Smackdown this week bro, in fact I would be destroying any other squad in the league this week.
But it's incredibly tight for the top 6. After this week anywhere from 4th-9th is still up for grabs for making the main bracket playoffs. I'm heartened to see my guys finish with a flurry but also disappointed to see others finishing strong too, such as Linwood and Griffin.
The next 3 weeks are going to be nail-biting...

Ah Slippy one, I waived him last week hoping he would sit there for a couple of weeks and then I could grab him back before anyone did if his rehab looked good.
Have to decide if I want to sit on Joe Johnson or waive him in the next week or so. His deep thigh injury maybe season ending. He's already missed 4 games.

Well Grif got me on the last day and we actually finished tied, but somehow or another he got the final playoff spot. Maybe they should have allowed us a one day playoff to settle this. Tim Duncan was my last player in action last night and if the game hadn't been a blowout, he may have played more minutes and got 5 more boards and 3 more assists to get me that one missing point to get grab that last spot. (of course winless had Tparker, so him getting more PT may have offset that anyway).
Congrats to Mo and Griif for a good final week. There were 5 teams vying for the those last two spots and you got em.

Oh brother. Just made a major Rookie mistake this week. :redface:All this talk of the playoffs and I had it in my head that only the top six teams get in. Then I thought just like the real playoffs each matchup is an elimination round.
So...I didn't set any lineups all week for my Open Team because I lost in the first round to Motown last week. :pout:Then...I notice on Stat Tracker in Novice that teams are being tracked in real time that didn't make the playoffs. Oops. I just now figured out that I'm in a matchup this week with the MC Jammer Pants and it's Friday and it's 1-8. :faint::hanged2:

Your players are going to bench themselves on the last day from sheer fear of my Fantasy Basketball GM pedigree.
