Oh I don't know Roscoe, I feel sorry for the guy. That game was a dagger in the heart football game if I ever saw one. I even felt bad for Matt Leinart and I really don't like Mr. HoldOut Hollywood at all.
Of course, I'm not objective because the Seahawks will have to go through the Bears for the NFC and we know how that went last time.

maybe he shouldn't call a bunch of pass plays on 2 straight drives in the 4th quarter while holding a big lead.

The running game wasn't working. Edgerrin James is washed up.

I enjoyed watching Leinart run for his life. Never had to do that at USC. Had plenty of protection there, didn't he? Welcome to the NFL, son.

If the kick would have been good, then Green would have been in a great mood through the press conference. Everyone around the country would be hailing the Cards and calling the Bears overrated.
I don't see why a coin flip at the end should dictate everybody's reaction to the game.
This reminds me of the MSU/Notre Dame game.

Among the coaches, my favorite is Jim Mora when he exclaims, "Playoffs? Playoffs? I just hope we win a game."

I wish I could get footage of Bobby Ross when he had his meltdown.
It's great to see the human side of the coaches and players. Leyland is great without even trying.

Another good one is the basketball coach from Temple (Chaney) when he goes after Calipari in the presser. Or Bobby Knight and his game face. No. 2 on his top 10.

Man, I love that AI one. I love the Practice counter in the corner. I remember watching that on Best Damn. They even count the ".5" when he half says the word. :pound:

I don't know about Edge being washed up but when you are playing on a team that has to respect Manning's arm it makes a big difference. Manning can systematically take a defense apart. When a defense does not have to worry about that type of threat and with a below average offensive line in Arizona it doesn't leave much room for Edge to do anything. It is all about the perfect fit. The Colts were the perfect fit for Edge but he let his greed for a bigger payday get in the way.

I don't think he's necessarilly washed up, he's only 28. I haven't watched much of the Cards this year, but I'd imagine its a combination of:
1. Edge being overvalued in Indy because of a solid O line and some guy named Payton.
2. Edge having to work behind a really crappy O line in ARZ with a rookie QB to boot.
I think he falls somewhere between where he was in Indy and his performance in Arizona so far.
