That's great work, Slippy!!! Now I now that I need a 3PT shooting player who dishes alot of assists while producing only few TO's. :nerd2:

my sandbagging worked! i look like the worst 7-2 team in the league. of course that's probably true anyway :D i have a feeling linwood is gonna rock me this week with the extra players, and mine have been subpar so far

Steve Nash.
Excellent, thanks dslip. (It is getting to be a serious chore around here to keep titles straight.)
Steve Nash.
nash still has 3+ turns. he needs billups!

Steve Nash.
Oh yeah, unfortunately I haven't got a C I could offer him (after he lost Brad Miller). But maybe he wants one of my C's for Nash- I can offer great, dominant big men like Dalambert, Magloire, Ben Wallace or Dampier :pound:
Alas, pull Nashy out and the whole thing comes down like a house of cards. (Which could happen with him, but surely will happen without him.) And what would I be left with? A tall guy standing among the rubble. Unless I took BBen who can barely see over the rubble.

Oh man, what's next? You gonna make a run at Joey Graham?
Slippy

I'll offer Josh smith for nash. After that, you will suffer the curse of the Josh Smith trade offer. I tried to deal Josh smith for Josh howard and Darko...Howard goes down - out 2 weeks...darko can't get off the bench. I tried to deal josh smith for brad miller...brad miller goes down - 4 weeks. Hopefully that was all part of nba.com's trial league so you guys will be safe.

i do have an abundance of centers if you're looking for trades...charlie v. is intriguing :D
on a sidenote, karma has bit me in the ass, as my constant add/drops to try and balance out the # of games my team plays vs. linwood this week has backfired ... pietrus didn't even play yesterday. so much for my 'sleeper pick of the year' :( haha

That's not very jedi-like. :nono:
You might need a good dunking in some swamp water.
Besides, I'm sure it was just the pre-formed thought in your head of offering Smith that sent Brad Miller's foot into apoplexy.

Naw, it was the offer otherwise the whole league would have gone down with injuries. I think after I offered the trade to webz he got a call from a little girl who said "28 days"

Warthog, which of my C's do you want? Magloire, Mr. superslow who has troubles getting play time against Przybilla (!). Dalambert, who is out of breath after 15minutes of action and who tries to pick up as many fouls as possible?
Dampier, who only plays well when in his contract year? Or Ben Wallace who proves he's not his ol' self ?

i don't want any of your C's!! the offer was to give one of mine to you!! :O i'd take ben though

Amen. I love me a good big man!
Um... that didn't come out right. I mean that I like big men. Um... I like my men big?
Jammer
If you wondered where all the centers are, just check out Jammer’s squad. With Ming, Darko, Bynum, Dampier and Blount, Jammers has cornered the market.

I can help. It's a crappy job for one guy to get stuck with but immensely useful for the players.
It's really a shame that Yahoo doesn't provide a stat feed, or standardized export. We could put Warthog's PHP skills to work writing an importer.

the problem is that I have my pf.com mail account at home and my MS office program at work. I need to convert the xls into html. If the xls or doc files get html-iszed before its sent, I can post it easily. otherwise I have to convert them...which isn't hard. I'll have to install office on my home PC.

ChipsOnPistons...the barometer of this team. lol. That win streak catapulted him to the top of novice league and that slump may just knock him back down. we need a chart of Chips progress. lol.

Wow, this is what I call efficient work!
Interesting stats this week, I simply don't get these ups and downs- one week, my team sucks in blocks, the other it tops the league by far.
And Slippy is having landslide victories in "his" categories each week.
Who are you having on your roster? Have you cloned Dwight Howard 12 times (that would explain why you suck that badly in TO's)?

haha :D
looking at the weekly stats it's a wonder i'm in 1st, i never lead in anything.
of course i have the top overall FG% but i'm only 4-2 in that category, 2-2-2 in blocks despite leading the league, and 5-0-1 in steals even though i'm middle of the pack. weird how matchups work (and how different this is from rotisserie)

Ralphi, I gotta tip my hat off to your and your team. Wade out, some other significant injuries...and you still dominated the 3ptm and STL cats. I had to sit Antwan at the last minute cuz I didn't want to lose FG%.
That was a battle.

A finesse move- I wonder why you played Alston, who is a below .400 shooter. I wanted to do the same (bench Dunleavy and Tinsley) but when I came home, the Pacers and the Warriors were already playing. Destiny that the games started that early.
Now I have to hope that West, Wally and JR Smith will be back soon- still awaiting how many games JR will have to sit out. Luckily, I ain't no Carmelo- owner. Damn, that was rough punch against Mardy Collins.

It was sheer ocular savvy. I knew that Rafer always shoots better in the afternoon and not so well at night. That coupled with the...ok, thats bs...actually, I was playing games and when I checked it, all those guys had played andwe were up a tick on some % and I wanted to sit both wilcox and jamison but was too late for wilcox.
