We have several staff changes occuring here at PistonsForum.com
Superstarov (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/5.html) has withdrawn from the staff team to focus on life away from the internet. As one of the founding staff members, Supes has been involved with almost every aspect of the board, from design to moderating, building content, planning, you name it. If you've been a member since early last season, in one way or another, you've interacted with Superstarov.
He's become a dear friend of mine, and will be a member in our new Contributors group. Rather than labelling staff as "retired", slippy (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/180.html) thought it best to celebrate the hard work and sacrifices they have made for the community and I agreed. Zoso and LanierFan will also be joining Supes as our first forum Contributors.
I'm also very proud to announce that we've added 5 members to the team this week.
Dumars4Ever (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/384.html), Jammertime (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/48.html), Dlev59 (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/404.html), linwood (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/102.html) and BillLaimbeer (http://www.pistonsforum.com/members/143.html) will be joining us as Forum Guides, sharing in the existing workload as well as adding muscle and insight towards new projects.
I'd like to thank Superstarov and other past staff members, as well as the current team, and membership for choosing to put back into our home for Pistons basketball. Active participation makes this site possible.

Staff here handle a lot of the little details that make the board go. There are some staffers (besides myself) who have invested more than one hundred hours into the board besides posting to threads. Evangelism, design, maintenance, calendar and game thread content, news posting, articles, BBSC.
Because there are so many more things we would like to do going forward and some things we are doing now that could be better, it was necessary to bring in more volunteer manpower. Over time, I am confident you will find these efforts extremely useful.
We will be following up over the holidays with a "things you can do to help the forum" thread that will give everyone the chance to make a small contribution (less than 5 minutes) to keep us heading in a positive direction.

Thanks for the recognition Roscoe and all.
When you work 2 jobs, and have a pregnant wife on bed rest, you have to cut back on fun-time. Hence, my retirement. And my lack of involvement around here in the past few months.
I'll be back in the future for some limited action...
but...
"Today... I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth..."

Feel free to take some of the time you'd normally spend setting your fantasy hockey roster this week, getting caught up on other things. I won't mind.

This is still my most checked site on the net, and super has been one of the reasons.
Lucky that the "new guys" are not new at all. Won't miss a beat.
And, super, your wife has out very best wishes. Hope things are on the right track and stay that way.

As per my PM to lemonpen, we're not accepting donations at this time.
We hope to have a facility to accept, reward and track donations as well as some other forum support measures in place by the summer.
In the meantime, please continue to post, read and enjoy the site. Your participation keeps us headed in a positive direction.
