Brett Favre broke Dan Marino's career completions record, but the Green Bay Packers had to overcome three interceptions by the three-time MVP to hold on for a 17-9 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. It was only the second home victory all season for the Packers (6-8), who have won two in a row.

Another bad loss for the Lions. Can anyone one say a possible two win season?

The whole Lions team should just retire :help2:

We've got the Bears at home and then on the road at Dallas... should be 2-14 and first pick in the draft.

We should get a WR.

We should get a WR.

We should draft for positions in this order: GM, QB, 2 offensive lineman, RB and then a WR.

We should trade down and grab one lineman for each side of the ball.

I predict a win against Chicago, bolstering the hopes of the fans and organization, and dropping the pick to number 3 or 4.

Then they take a WR.

:rolleyes1:

Can we draft a GM?

Can we draft a GM?

No but if Millen & staff can resign or get fired before the draft, (preferably before the Superbowl), Mr. Ford may be able to convince someone else to take on this task of rebuilding the lions.....Don't trust Millen with any picks in the top 5..

We can always use a scrambling QB in Detroit. It's a lot easier than building and offensive line.

I agree that we should try and trade down. I'll settle for the best player available out of: DE, OT, OG, MLB, CB with our first 3 picks minimum.

I'd except a WR and/or RB no earlier than the 4th - preferablly 5th - round.

I predict a win against Chicago, bolstering the hopes of the fans and organization, and dropping the pick to number 3 or 4.

I've felt that way for several weeks now. Either the Bears or at Cowboys will be a W and will drop us to the 3rd pick in the draft.

Can we draft a GM?

No, but we can trade a pick to a team for their GM. Its been done with coaches before. Most recently Herm Edwards last season.

God no. Scrambling QB to me means RB with bad hands/QB with little accuracy. A player like Vick on this current team would be an absolute disaster. You can just substitute all of Kitna's INTs for Vick fumbles.

We can't even make lanes for our RBs when they're drawn up, let along improvising with QB scrambles. It'll be fumble, sack, holding penalty, fumble, holding penalty, punt, sack, fumble, sack, sack sack, repeat.

If we are going to draft someone and ruin their career, let's make sure that they are a buckeye. :stirthepot:

If you trade a pick for a GM, wouldn't that GM be essentially trading himself? Besides Millen, I can't think of any GMs desperate (or stupid) enough to trade themselves.

Good point. Then he'd be trading himself to a team that doesn't have a draft pick! :pound:

I wonder if his fantasy teams are doing any better.
