This is strange, sad and fascinating. Like Sam Cassell's alien head.
So in a weird way, I declare Shaquille O'Neal both the biggest winner, and the biggest loser, of the 2007 TrueHoop baby name popularity contest. Honorable mention to the candy bar guy.

8 years ago we named our kid after Brendan Shanahan.
It worked out well. My wife is Irish and we both like hockey. Other people keep calling him "Brandon", though.
My daughter's middle name is "Brooke" after the actress Brooke Shields. I figured that way nobody would get between her and her Calvin Kleins for a bit.
My middle name actually came from a famous nutty weather caster from the Detroit area named Sonny Elliot. Go figure. lol.
Slippy's middle name is Dorothy. I think his parents liked the Wizard of Oz or something.:caked:

Here's a line to use when your dear daughter has his first date. When the guy comes to the door, whisper in his ear: "I have a shotgun and a shovel. I doubt anyone will miss you."

I gave my two sons names that would be unique by spelling their first names differently>Aerik and the younger one Kevan .
To top that off I gave them middle names of Jarreau in honor of Al Jarreau and Branford, named after Branford Marsalis who was Arsenio's bandleader at the time.
