Yeah I bought the package earlier in the year. I love my League Pass, I adore it, I truly do. I watch all night every night. However, every so often I do reflect upon the fact that I'll be paying $179 plus inflation a year for this product for the rest of my life.

I mean, I can see me being an old old lady on a fixed income and buying only brand X products at the grocery because my small disposable income will already be budgeted for League Pass! It'll be "I used to grind my favorite organic coffee beans, but ever since I started getting League Pass 20 years ago, I've been drinking Sanka instead."

The time and social life issue is even funnier. My friends and family call up and they hear the same thing night after night: "I can talk for a few minutes only, I'm in the middle of a game." :pound: The other day my sister says to me "Hon, I'd like to get together with you some night when there isn't a game." :pound: Okay, yeah well that will be in the middle of June or so!

I have had it since 1997, and it is just an automatic renewal for me on DirectTV every year even though the wife :ballchainquestions the charges when it shows up on the bill. I will probably have it forever and like Aurora, I will have to budget into my pension income 20 years from now:crutch:

Has anyone figured out LeaguePass Broadband? It must be a feature they don't really want you to use since I can't find any mention of how to actually use it on the Comcast website.

Anyone know the URL? How do you get an ID if you are a LeaguePass subscriber?

There are usually links on NBA.com. You have to submit your subscriber ID from Comcast (I believe).

I am really tempted to order it. Its $99 right now, of course I would only be paying for 1/2 a season and it does not include the playoffs. Free preview ends tomorrow.

Some strange things have been happening during this week of free league pass. I have started watching Kings games. Don't know why, for some reason I have gravitated to watching that team.

$99, I probably will do it. How my billing period works is that it will not be due until March 9 since I just paid the bill.

Just did it. Its added.

The thing that gets you is watching the games as they are broadcasted from the home city. Really gives you that personal feel that you can't get from watching that same team on the National networks.

Yep. I love it.

The west coast games have me hooked.

I need to stop it though, I am exhausted the next day. Then, I do it again!!!!!!!!

Houston is under the radar....look out when Yao comes back.

All those 10:30 games.

Should be able to hang a little better with you guys now on non-Piston issues.

Be prepared for the "homer" broadcast teams especially the "color analysts" who make Blaha and Kelser sound like impartial national broadcasters including our old buddy Fred McCleod and with his color man, Austin Carr in Cleveland, the Celtics >Heinson, the Heat guys Tony & Eric , Pacers>Quinn Buckner, Bulls> Johnny Red Kerr and of course Mr. Articulate>Walt Frazier who has own style dictionary sitting in from of him durung the games:)

Welcome to the Dark Side... I think you will be pleasantly surprised about the playoff broadcast... in the early rounds the major networks can't pick up all the games.... LP to save the day!

What is really interesting is other announcers perspective on the Pistons players.... I think Rip is the most feared player... and Chauncey is envy of them all.... the Sheed hate is hilarious (course I would enjoy that... lol)
Tommy Heinson is about as close to Johnny Most as you can get for rediculous homerism.

Any body here signed up for MLB Extra Innings?

Looks like you can't get it through Comcast, which means I'm stuck watching Cubs games here in Chi town.

I got it as part of the super sports pack here. You can't buy "per sport", you have to sub to them all for $25 CDN ($22 USD) a month.
