Nash signs to endorse watches for his charity (http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/articles/0219allstarnb0219.html)

Sanders said Nash could make another $1 million to $2 million annually if he wanted to be less discerning.

"He's not going to be selling hamburgers anytime soon," Sanders said.
Pretty cool to see the League MVP showing a lot more social conscience and character than the LeBron James crew.

This is the book that Nash refers to

I'm not sure where that Nike "Second Coming" commercial fits into all this, which features both Nash and LeBron. Is Nike "socially responsible"?

It's cool that Nash seems to be focusing more on his charities than on getting more money for himself from endorsements, but I wouldn't really say that displays a lot more character than other star players. I don't know how much LeBron gives to various charities, but most of these guys donate plenty. If someone like LeBron gives even a small portion of his Sprite and Nike millions back into charities, and I'm assuming he probably does, that's already an awful lot of dough.

That's an excellent point.

Well, Nash is a different breed. Oh, by-the-way, the young lady who makes LeBrons' shoes makes 17 cents per pair.
