Ditto that. Gotta luv the underdogs that just don't give up.
Don't remember a lot about his career here........Should we have kept him?

in a word no.
but in a few words.. he was a thin athletic center when we needed a legimate interior presence... good role player but not even close to starter material

The impressive thing about Mikki's FG% is that it is not all inside work. He's actually shooting 54.7% from outside. His free throw line extended jumper is money and he shoots > 40% of his shots from that range.
He's making the most out of what he has.

As I recall, and I am sure that there are a number of posters here that can correct me if I am wrong about this, but one the reasons we never kept him is because he could not add the necessary muscle and weight to be able to effectively bang down low.
He still only weight 223 according to NBA.com which is light for a 7 footer. He averaged only 5 boards a game over 26 minutes a game. Not the kind of rebounding numbers you are looking for from a 7 footer.
Though, I think that it is great that he found a team that could benefit from the skills he has worked so hard to successfully develop.
