Yeah, but Baron is walking so slap an Icy-Hot Backside Patch on that sucka and release the hounds.

But I think the deal with hamstring strains or pulls is that you can sometimes walk OK, but you can't run at all.

SJax took an unintentional elbow to the face from a teammate...ouch.

ahb

Baron doing his Isiah impression or Grant?

He looks awful.

It takes Javie and Garretson both to overrule Wunderlich's no-call.

Dumars4Ever

Baron is really laboring here. Looks like the Warriors...probably should have won Game 5 when they had the chance.

Hey!:gun1:

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 12:36 AM
Steve Kerr says it may take a "Willis Reed-type effort" from Baron...well, Willis Reed scored all of 4 points in that game, as inspirational as he was. Clyde Frazier with 36 points and 19 assists was somewhat more of a factor in that game.

The Low
05-04-2007, 12:38 AM
Yo! It's gametime...in 1080P!!!

ahb
05-04-2007, 12:39 AM
To be fair, Kerr was only about five years old at the time.

Keep on chuckin', Seinfeld.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 12:39 AM
So? I was -6 years old.

ahb
05-04-2007, 12:41 AM
How could Javie possibly make that call? He was screened off by Nowitzki. Garrettson on the baseline had a much clearer view.

And a bad call from Wunderlich. His heels were not on the floor.

The Low
05-04-2007, 12:42 AM
It's amazing how every call is in DAL's favor so far...I find it very interesting how they can swallow the whistles when GS has the ball.

that was a charge...BS

The Low

and will someone please tell Peitrus to stop shooting. Has he hit a shot this decade?

The Low

What is Kerr smoking?

Davis is 90 feet behind the play where the hell is he going to run back to?

ahb
05-04-2007, 12:54 AM
What is Kerr smoking?
His own Kool-aid, rolled up in a joint?

It's amazing how much better the Ws team rebounding gets when they're not in a zone.

Howard trying to reaggravate Baron's injury by twisting him to the floor... no effect on his shooting, though.

ahb
05-04-2007, 12:55 AM
Where the hell was the foul on either of those possessions?

The Low
05-04-2007, 12:58 AM
OMG....Kerr is just praying for a GS loss with his predictions of collapse sans Davis who remains in the game.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 12:58 AM
Baron is hitting some crazy shots, but the Mavs are only down 2 despite Dirk being 1-10.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 01:02 AM
If the Mavs make the proper halftime adjustment on Baron, they should be able to take him mostly out of the game. Play up on him to take away the jumper, since he won't be able to drive.

ahb
05-04-2007, 01:09 AM
Baron can get by Terry or their bigger guards even on one leg.

Harris? Depends on how much flopping this crew's willing to tolerate.

He looks much quicker early in the second half.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 01:22 AM
Mavs are fouling up a storm here, Warriors are starting to get a couple of calls going their way.

ahb
05-04-2007, 01:23 AM
It looks like Avery's told his players to hammer Baron whenever possible in addition to attacking him on defense.

Jackson's hot.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 01:24 AM
Jackson has warmed up with an assist from the Mavs--they're leaving him open by 10 feet every time.

The Low
05-04-2007, 01:25 AM
Kerr still explaining why DAL is better and will win.

I wonder if he will continue with this line of thinking if the Mavs lose...will he be telling us how if you really think about it, DAL really won the series, but just didn't have the number of games.....blah blah blah...

ahb
05-04-2007, 01:27 AM
The Dirk Nowitzki Storyline has been brought into play.

ahb

The Warriors are suddenly making defensive rotations like the '90s Bulls.

I love how the Mavs keep going to Croshere rather than Dirk.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 01:33 AM
Whoa, Baron, WTF...why is he going after Croshere?! It was a hard foul, but come on, it's the playoffs.

ahb
05-04-2007, 01:36 AM
First they run plays for Austin Croshere, now DeSagana Diop. Brilliant decision, Stack.

18 point lead.

Dumars4Ever
05-04-2007, 01:36 AM
This is amazing, Warriors lead just keeps on climbing. Mavs are going to have to find an awful lot of heart in an awfully big hurry.

The Low

How do we think the Pistons would be doing against them? The Warriors are playing great, and Detroit would clearly have little chance of stopping Baron, but I don't think they'd be slowing us down much either. No way we'd be sweeping them, but I think we could handle them in 5 or 6. I can't see the Warriors getting the consistent turnovers and crappy 4th quarter execution that have plagued the Mavs if the Warriors were going up against the Pistons instead.

I'm glad people in the Bay Area finally have something to cheer for basketball-wise. I lived in San Jose for a year and the Mercury News (where I worked) didn't even assign a full-time reporter to the Warriors beat. The team was just considered a laughingstock.

Stephen A. Smith referred to Dirk as the Tin Man on ESPN. Wow! I thought Avery Johnson and even Cuban showed decent sportsmanship in the post-game interviews/pressers.

How good are the Warriors?

I heard one of the announcers commenting on how slow Yao Ming will look against these guys if the Rockets advance.

If they do prove to be a tough mismatch against Houston, and somehow get by them, then they will be going up against either San Antone or Phoenix in the WCF.

How crazy would a Phoenix/Golden State series be?

Then you could have Detroit coming out of the east to ruin all the fun.
