I listened to an interview on ESPN radio yesterday on my way into work. I guess Jack McCallum of Sports Illustrated wrote an insider book on the Phoenix Suns after they agreed to let him hang around with them.

Basically, he said he was allowed to write whatever he wanted and wasn't censored. He talked about how the Suns have no respect at all for the Lakers. They think Kobe is totally selfish, Phil Jackson acts like a king sitting on his throne, and also they have no respect for Smush Parker. They do respect Walton and Odom as basketball players.

He said they also can't help but respect the Dallas Mavericks.

He also spoke about one of the Suns (can't remember if it was Stoudamire or Marion) not being happy with the number of plays run for him.

It sounded pretty interesting. He even talked about a couple blow ups they had. He said they were pretty candid with him and it sounds like it's a really good book if you want to know about the inner workings of a basketball team.
