Opening Day - 11/01/2005

TJ Ford

16 pts, 14 asts, 9 rebs!

..and a game-tying pass to Michael Redd to send the game to overtime and evenutally a victory.

Too bad you are on the opposing team.

I was surprised By TJ's big game and also Chris Webber's. Him and AI both had over 30 pts. That is scarry but they still lost. So maybe it is not so good.

Absolutely. Chris Webber gets my honorable mention. He was brilliant yesterday. 32 points 14 boards! Ewwww Weeee!!! Who said this guy's game went south?

Maybe not good for their real teams, but I'd be happy to see those kinds of numbers for my team as a fantasy owner. :)

i got nash so i was happy with the 2 OTs to pad stats, except for the extra 4 fouls he picked up...and as usual had his fair share of turnovers

Webber should have a good game. I remember last year Webber and Sheed were trading baskets and talking trash. They are good friends so it should be good!!

Day 2 - 11/02/2005

MVP

Chris Duhon - 55% from the field, 18 pts, 10 rebs, and 12 asts.

Nice triple double considering he shares the back court with Kirk Hinrich.

Honorable Mention

Rip Hamilton - 67% from the field, 83% from the line, 37pts, 6 rebs, 3 asts, 1 stl...and well he is a Detroit Piston! :)

I had a pretty good night from my gaurds as well...

Rip Hamilton: .667 fg%, 37 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal

Sam Cassell: 1.00 ft%, 4 3pm, 35 points, 11 assists, 2 steals, 1 block.

I thought I had a serious guard problem, but my big deal SF both had horrible percentages on everything, so I am still losing!

Day 3 - 11/03/2005

MVP

Kobe Bryant

Bryant - 50% from the field, 13-14 from the line, 39 pts, 5 asts, 7 boards

Kobe looks poised for a career season!

Honorable Mention

Lamar Odom and Steve Nash

Odom - 2 threes, 48% from the field, 7-8 from the line, 23 points, 8 asts, 18 boards

Nash - 7-7 from the line, 12 pts, 6 boards, 17 asts, 4 steals

Monster games. Looks like Lamar is settling into his Scottie Pippen role quite nicely. The loss of Amare does not appear to have affected Nash's game thus far.

i was banking on that when i picked him. if you remember the pistons game vs. the suns last year @ home, nash was out. when he was, they blew the suns out, amare looked terrible, and yeah.

nash is what drives the team, not amare, and hence i'm glad he's on my team :)

Day 4 - 11/04/2005

MVP

Richard Jefferson

Jefferson - 53% from the field, 5 threes, 12-14 from the line, 35 pts, 5 asts, 11 boards

What a difference Jason Kidd presence means to this dude's numbers! Richard was a low 40 percent shooter when Kidd was off due to injury.

Honorable Mention

Marcus Camby and Brevin Knight

Camby - 23 pts, 78% from the field, 17 boards, 1 steal, and 6 blocks

Knight - 14 pts, 50% from the field, 4 boards, 3 steals and 15 assists

Camby is having an allstar season so far posting the best numbers of any starting center in the West outside of Memo. Very impressive. Now how long can we expect for him to stay healthy?

Knight does his best to keep the young aspiring rookie, Felton out of the game. Fantasy B-Ball's reigning super sleeper pick has seemingly continued where he left out last season.

Too bad either one of these guys historically are only a game or so away from the aggravation of an existing injury. I guess only time will tell.

You better nominate JKidd. Triple double looks mediocore compared to a large points total, but how many people can get 10 PTS, 11 REBS, 11 AST, 3 ST, 1 3PM, and go 100% from the free throw line?
