Don't forget to give the Tigers' D an assist. Ordonez and Perez both made stellar plays to preserve this one. It was a team effort for sure and don't forget that Pudge called a great game, too.

I know. But who would've earlier thought about Maggs stellar defensive play? He was in the lineup primarily for his hitting prowess.

Neifi's play ranks top 10 this season in my book.

So, do we justify his contract?

Unbelieveable, when I heard Neifi helped out it was like the Tigs were at one with the universe.

I will be watching Verlander pitch THIS SATURDAY, in Atlanta!!!!
(YES in Tigers hat)
Quick stats I just looked up.
Tigers have won 10 of their last 14 games, and are on a 4 game winning streak right now.
I hope we sweak the Braves at home! (7 game winning streak here we come!)

Verlander got to hang out with President Bush yesterday. The other Tigers got to visit the Whitehouse, but only JV met the prez. Maybe JV gave GW some advice... :stirthepot:

Isn't it too late for the lame-duck president? Just ask Flip...

Unfortunately Neifi needs to cancel about 50 F'ups to justify his contract.
Go Neifi, Go Neifi:)

I think we're actuall having a problem. When he has to play - he's an automatic out. Sort of like having a pitcher hit. Which is strange - the guy is .260 career hitter and can't get anywhere close to .200 with Tigers.
