The Sacramento Kings (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/sac/;_ylt=AvGoL3WKqvXhN0y2ueeNYheLvLYF) reached an agreement in principle Tuesday with Reggie Theus to become their new coach, ending a meandering two-month search for Eric Musselman's replacement.

Most people think it's a joke. I'll give Theus a thumbs up chance.

According to this piece there are no takers for LB based on what he's done lately:

Keep slammin Larry:
Lack of References Subverts Brown’s Glowing Résumé - New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/21/sports/basketball/21brown.html?em&ex=1182571200&en=e69ab05deb7e63b0&ei=5087%0A)
The most successful coach on the market is still a free agent, quietly pining for another chance in the N.B.A. Brown wants to coach again, according to just about everyone who knows him. He is eager to restore his honor after a 23-59 season in New York and a messy breakup with the Knicks (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/sports/probasketball/nationalbasketballassociation/newyorkknicks/index.html?inline=nyt-org).
The problem, it seems, is that the league is not so eager to give Brown that opportunity.

It's amazing to me that teams would still rather have "nice guys" than put themselves in a better position to win.
Official Dennis Rodman Syndrome.

Official Dennis Rodman Syndrome.
I think they are more worried about Larry alienating their youth, tanking games, and then trying to force a buyout than they are about Larry being nice.
Call it the Ricky Williams/Vin Baker syndrome. Talent can only make up for so many personality defects.
