Looks like that 15th pick might get dealt looking at this list. They need to be looking at more guy's than that around the 15th pick area. There is no guarantee that Stuckey or Crittenton will even be there. So if the guy you are targeting comes off the board then what? You go with the second or third choice at that same SG position? Not smart at all. You should always draft talent over need and if the PG/SG you want is not there you take the highest ranked player whether it be a PF,SF or PG/SG:cold: .

Just a note, it's pretty interesting how many seniors the Pistons brought in for a workout. I'd assume that one or more of these guys makes the Pistons summer league team, and the Pistons are looking for some late second rounders who would have the patience to wait for an opportunity (read: age = maturity).

Devon Hardin is out of the draft now.

I'm really stoked to see Jared Jordan on the list of candidates brought in. I was sussing him out as one of my potential 2nd round picks and in my opinion he's going to be the one really break-out player from this year's draft after he plays a few years. Think John Stockton but with an ability to board a little better. This kid averaged 16 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists. He's downside is his height, he's only 6' 2" and he doesn't have blazing speed. But hey Steve Kerr was one of the slowest guys ever to play in the pros and he has 5 championship rings. From reading about Jordan he has great passing ability and handles the ball really well. I would take him with the 27th pick in the draft as a true point guard and grab Stuckey or Crittendon with our 15th pick.

I don't agree. Sheed and McDyess are old. Amir perhaps can take over the starting role in a year or two, but then who is going come off the bench? J-Max is a sitituitonal player. You can only play him when the match up is favorable. I still say you always take the player with the most talent regardless of need. Just because you draft the guy doesn't mean you can't trade him later to feel a need. That is the problem with this team now Joe D. gutted our bench to the point there is no one that we can trade except Amir that has some real value.

I personally know Ryvon Covile. He's a good kid. Has excellent parents.

i was wondering why jason was missing. I guess it was scheduling. I dunno if he's our guy (a little unseasoned) but if we go big, he's probably it.

He's average to good athletically, but plays very smart. A good prospect for someone who played just one year of HS ball. I'd like to see him get drafted somewhere, just cause he's a great kid.

Yep, sure looks like that to me. I see the #15 as being traded. More cap room now.
