Resign Chauncey before we get him. Actually the Pistons should not get him. Stuckey and Afflalo should be the backups next season.
Play the youth............

Fifty One :D
We'll play GState Small Ball. Wave after wave of passing, shooting, midgets.

Might be 51, but he would be the only true PG on the team...

Brevan Knight is getting up there in age. i would rather stick w/ the younger and much better Chauncey Billups.

It might be good to pick him up as an insurance policy. You never know...a few of our guards could go down with injuries at the same time..or player/coach Lindsey could start passing out those "vitamin" pills his wife gave him.

As in Area 51. We supposedly have them, but no one will ever see them (on the court)...:sssh:
Would be a typical Joe move. Draft two guards, and then bring in a veteran to play ahead of them. Although I can't argue that Knight wouldn't fill in a huge question mark. I'd be nice to know that we have point guard covered heading into the season.
This is the season to play the youth............Throw the phone in the trash..........................call no one, when it comes to the guards.........:swords: :swords:

Well it looks like Joe might do the predictable (and infuriating) thing if he has the chance.
Pistons express interest in PG Knight - Detroit Pistons Full-Court Press - MLive.com (http://blog.mlive.com/fullcourtpress/2007/07/pistons_express_interest_in_pg.html)
Knight missed 36 games with several injuries last season, but says there's no doubt he'll sign with another NBA team. He said the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons have expressed interest.

Due diligence Cloud. He's gotta touch base with FA PGs until Billups is signed.

I hope that's all this is, but if that is the case it doesn't look like he is as confident in retaining Billups as we are being led to believe.
Either way, it wouldn't surprise me if he failed to lock up Chauncey or if he did retain Billups and signed Brevin Knight to take minutes away from Stuckey.

Man, this making my head spin. At least we get to see RS and AA play before the FA quiet period ends.
