Could this be the reason that the Suns might be looking to unload him?

- Amare Stoudemire (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3607)'s anticipation of competing for Team USA this summer has been tinged by concern over the arrest of his half brother on charges that include suspicion of murder. http://assets.espn.go.com/i/nba/profiles/players/65x90/3607.jpg Stoudemire

"It's a little disappointing," Stoudemire said Monday. "All I can do is put my prayers out there and hope everything works out for the best."

Marwan Williams, 18, was one of five people arrested July 4 in what police believe was a drug heist that went bad at a Scottsdale resort. Ian Stenhouse, 27, was shot to death.

It was the latest in a string of family troubles that have followed Stoudemire most of his life.

why would that be his fault?
plus these people arent perfect,
and there coaches expect them to be.
if they would get rid of him, they better
have the BEST backup for him.

Here you have a guy with a rough childhood, lost his father at age 12, his mother is constantly in jail, his brother is facing murder charges, and in response to all of this he works hard, stays out of trouble, is a great teammate, and at age 24 is one of the best basketball players in the world. Why would the Suns want to get rid of somebody like that?

Naw, this is why you have Amare. If you ever saw the Real Sports on HBO w/B. Gumble, story of Amare when he was in highschool you'd know that it's nothing short of Amazing that he's in the NBA. In highschool he was a phenom (duh) and he was being pulled in over a hundred different directions. This is a kid who's friends, family, coaches, and corporations have been trying to exploit to the fullest and take advantage of him. Real talk....I don't see how the kid trusts anybody, he grew up without a support system in place, and everybody in his life had a personal selfish agenda of Amare-xploitation, and he was only 17!!!!!
