The so called experts are saying the balance of power is shifting to the East. KG, Ray Allen, Zach Randolph, Rashard Lewis, & J-Rich to name a few have come over from the "Left Coast" to try and win that elusive ring.
Can the above players bring their respective teams, or any of the remaining Eastern Conference teams challenge the Spurs, Mavs, Suns, or whosoever comes out of the west for the NBA crown?
If so, who???

Under the steady guidance of Flip Saunders I'd say the Pistons could do it....certain things would have to fall into place of course. Say a Tim Duncan injury or arrest...Dirk Nowitski taking a sabbatical.
Miami, Like San Antonio had their down year. Now this is their season to show. They won't have the best season record, but expect the Finals to be Diesel Powered...:hoops:

They didn't make the list, but I feel inclined to vote Boston.

If Nazr... If Flip... If Rodney... If Amir...
There are a lot of if's but if they all fall the right way the pieces are there for the Pistons to win a title.:)

I would have to say the Pistons and Miami and Chicago if they are healthyand everything goes right for these teams hopefully Cleveland wont slip through the cracks again like last year but I still need to wait and see Boston in action before I say too much about them

Pistons should have the pieces this year to at least make it to the Finals. At that point anything could happen.

If the Pistons do what they're supposed to do, they should be the only team left standing after the ECF. Hopefully, Flip will be fired during the course of the season if he continues to make dunderheaded decisions.

My bad.
Boston should be included in the poll. Anyone feel free to mention Boston if they are your choice.

The thread description is not the poll question.
Anyway, answer as you wish.
Everyone else understood the question.
Thanks..........
I really thought others here would choose other teams. Roscoe did choose Boston. I thought the percieved harm that Flip Saunders does to the team would cause people to scatter to other teams. Heck, I chose Miami.................and I like Flip................:stirthepot:

I understood the question.
I choose not to answer it.
The reason is that I generally stay away from the subject of East vs West and who is better etc. When you get moron writers referring to the East as the "JV Conference" it just isn't worth gong there as far as I am concerned.
Have a nice day.

Heck, I may wait untill we're about half-way through the season to see if Flip is still around.

lol. Not a bad idea. Upgrading our coach makes us an instant legitmate challenger for the title in my opinion.
