Another sad story of a former NBA player falling on hard times. I kind of choked up a bit when I read that article.

Common guys, this is serious. We're talking about someones life here. Show some class. Put yourself in Latrell's really expensive almost paid for shoes for a second. How would you like to be forced to downsize from a 70'er to a 35'er? That's like cutting your boat in half.

It's not to late. The article says that Spree still owes $1.3 million on the yacht. There are 1,238 members on PF.com. If we all chip in a mere $1050 each, we can feed the man's family!... er.... I mean, save his really big boat!

So, right here, right now, I'm starting the Save Spree's Really Big Boat Fund. Who's with me?

Well, I'm with you but I think some of the rich guys like Roscoe should chip in more.

I will go out on a limb and say you forgot the decimal point between the 10 and 50, if so, I`m in!!!!!!!!!

Excellent, so it's settled then. We'll each pay $10.50 and Roscoe will pick up the remaining $1,287,001.

Don't worry Latrell, help is on the way!

How about some creative names for what he should have named his boat(instead of Milwaukee's Best)?

I just had a thought. Maybe Spreewell isn't a jerk after all.

We all know that he took a lot of heat after his "I have a family to feed" line. But maybe he was speaking literally. I'm assuming his 70' yacht has a kitchen. If they take away his boat (and kitchen), he literally wouldn't be able to feed his family.

Hahaha nice one.

Maybe Spree should have had that attitude and bought a yacht that was on sale.

Microwave-economics lean heavily on the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition.

#141 - Only fools pay retail.

#3 - Never pay more for an acquisition than you have to.

He could sell his house and just PARK THE YACHT ON A LOT......and just live in it. He could pay off the boat with the sale of his home. It could really be a "mobile home"..........
Just name it the "Minnow" .......Gilligan...........
