It's year three and we have a back to back Advanced Champion.

Also entering the league for the first time is the Novice Champ, Darth! Counting myself, the defending Open League Champion...we have the stage set for some interesting battles.

Along with a couple of house rules:

Members who have at least one year of PF.Com Fantasy Basketball experience will have seniority as far as being awarded a spot in the league.
Any team that participated in Advanced League last year is automatically invited back unless their team fell to inactive status...which in that case...I'm still upset with you because you compromised the game for the rest of us. Don't give up. It's horrible for fantasy basketball!
Trash talk and ultra competitiveness is expected
I expect us all to conduct ourselves like adults or young adults
Teams will be repaced for inactivity. Failure to do ones lineup on consecutive days without contacting the commissioner is cause for disciplinary action which can be as stiff as being removed depending on the severity. No excuse for this. Do your lineups well in advance.
New rules may be added in the future to keep the league fun and exciting.With that said, let's get busy!

I have 4 special invites out for previous GMs: Big Daddy, Griffin, MainManJoeD and Slippy (if he has a change of heart).

So it looks like we're set.

Should any of those GMs decide not to participate or fail to respond by this Tuesday, I will either close the league at 12, 14 or assign a position to someone in the queue. Currently there is no queue.

I've run a league with 16 before and its do-able. I just need to tweak some settings. Like dropping a roster spot. The draft will be very important this year. We want the most competitive league ever and having the best GMs assures that this happens.

Unfortunately, I've decided (it pains me to write this), in the spirit of my team name (FD- Fired and Divorced), to spend a year focusing on my wife and my job. The memories were grand, and hopefully two consecutive final four finishes (in reality, I was the only team for two years that could actually carry #1's jock) will allow me to step back into the mix in a year, if I can pull things together.
