Wrong once again, Mr. Canuckian. There are several categories (player, coach, team, etc.) that one can be inducted into the HOF. Darko could be inducted as an outstanding Contributor the sport. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me.

Is there a limit on how many can be inducted each year? I think 7 or 8 of these people could get inducted this year.

If I had the vote, it would be Akeem, Adrian, Dick Vitale and Patrick.
But then, I would definitely DE-select Larry Brown so that I could replace him with a real coach, Riles.
