If anyone just watched the Cavs/76`ers game you just witnessed a travesty. For those who didn`t see it just tune into NBA TV, ESPN, your local sports channel.

LeBron took his suitcase and waltz down the lane which went uncalled passed the ball to Devin Brown, (he was fouled) and he missed a 3 footer.

Time ran out.

The travel on LeBron should have been called, game would have been over, Philly was up by one. The refs huddled for about two minutes, looked at the replay, and called a foul on Dalembert!!!!!!!

With 0.2 seconds left Brown hit both FT, Cavs win..........OMG!!!!

The other thing is that not only did former Piston homer turned Cavs homer Fred McLeod yell at the top of his lungs, but his color sidekick Austin Carr said that Lebron got fouled two times going to the rim???

Cavs may not have refs on their pockets, but the somebody at the NBA league office might....would not be surprised that a note was sent to the refs to make sure the Cavs won just so that they have HCA and get a chance to get that to play the Celtics in the second round.:sssh:

You may be right. I don`t think either team (Wiz or Cavs) can beat the Celtics, however, I believe the Wiz could have bet the Cavs, if they had HCA.

This win ensured the Cavs HCA in their series against the Wiz.

Go figure........

It could be neither here nor there. The refs just suck.

Cavs still struggling as of late, so its just matter if the Wiz can win one on the road...I see Agent 0 didn't play tonight...is he ok or just resting?

Fred McLeod is the most annoying person on the planet earth.

:pound:He is pretty irritating. Mainly because I know that either 1) he never liked the Pistons and was just pretending to for the money, or 2) he doesn't like the Cavs and is just pretending to for the money.

Either way, he's clearly seeing things that aren't there on the replays.

I think McLeod is right up there with Heinsohn (spelling?).

By far the worst announcers i've heard are the Cavs, Bos, Bulls and the Suns. I literally have to mute the game so i can watch it.

The Kings announcers are pretty good, so are ATL's.

New York's guys are not bad, except with their team being so bad they end up talking more about non-basketball stuff.

Every announcing team has to promote their team, but the Laker play-play guy annoys me. The color man is former Piston Stu Lantz and he is OK, but the guy who eventually inherited Chicks Herns' spot gets excited as Freddy Mac and assumes that if the Lakers are trailing in crunch time, Kobe will save them.

OMG!!!! I had just finished watching Suns/Warriors and then I flipped over to NBATV and saw those highlights. GOD, did it ever put me in a foul mood to watch that game get given to Cleveland. And then LeBron was shown watching Devin Brown take his free throws, just knowing that he would make them and they would win a game they didn't deserve. That was horrible. The Sixers are celebrating and get called out of the locker room. Are there no limits to the kissingupness of the league and its officials to this arrogant kid? All those foul calls he doesn't deserve. AAARGHHHH!!!!!!

The Sixers should get an apology.LeTravel travels and flies into the lane forcing contact with everyone...and some spineless ref thinks maybe there was a foul and certainly doesn't want to get in trouble with the LeBron marketing effort that has been ongoing since before he even got out of high school. After all, we're trying to market to future fans. Let's give the Cavs a chance to win.

I tried to watch Ben after he got traded, but you know I can't. Because I can't stand to watch LeBron with all his posturing and preening and the knowledge that he will get his special treatment no matter what. Even Devin Brown admitted it. He said he was surprised he got the call because he isn't #23. AAAARGHHHH!

Why does a player as good as LeBron need to be able to take 4 or 5 steps without putting the ball on the floor?

Same reason a dog licks his undercarriage. Because he can.

Yeah even the NBA TV studio guys said he traveled but since it wasn't called it was non -reviewable. The playoff fate of four teams changed on that one call.

If the Cavs had lost, the Pistons surely would have beaten them on Wednesday to make sure that they opened the first round on the road. Sixers may have played more inspired ball on Wdnesday to beat the Bobcats and the Bulls playing spoilers would have beaten the Raptors on Wednesday.

So the lineup this weekend would have been
Hawks at Celtics
Raptors at Pistons
Sixers at Magic
Cavs at Wizards

I don't think it is necessarily due to Cavs being the NBA's primadonnas, although it does look suspicious enough since NBA would love to see LeBron vs. Boston in the conference semis. I think it is due to the incompetence of some of the men with the whistle. It may have been an accurate call at that point nowithstanding two previously missed calls - travel on LeBron and Z shoving Dalembert into Brown with foul being called on Dalembert.

I guess we're not the only ones questioning this mess. This is from Washington:

The Shove That Shook The East - Wizards Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2008/04/no_need_for_agent_zero_cavs_ha.html#more)

While the Washington Wizards managed to win on Monday without Agent Zero, the Cleveland Cavaliers pilfered a win in Philadelphia with the help of The Big Z Hero.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas's left elbow did more than send Samuel Dalembert stumbling into Devin Brown in the final second of the Cleveland Cavaliers' controversial 91-90 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
It shook up the entire Eastern Conference playoff picture.
The Wizards no longer have a chance to win the fourth seed in the playoffs because officials at Wachovia Center chose to make the right call after ignoring several others that led up to it.

And another opinion:

Crazy Crazy Calls: Highway Robbery In The NBA (http://deadspin.com/379938/highway-robbery-in-the-nba)

When is a win not really a win? When you're playing against David Stern's golden boy LeBron James, that's when.

Not sure what I loved more the Wizards Insider beat writers take on this issue or the comments from the fans. Good to see that fans in other cities think LeTravel gets more calls than he should.

That's what I liked as well. The problem is that it doesn't change the course of events as long as Stern is at the helm. He's so beyond the point of no return up the stars' arses that it's not even funny.

Gotta love Cavs TV announcer breathlessly screaming that Devin Brown (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3673/;_ylt=AuBpDNv_ZhI2l6L2lug0fM6ezIx4)’s foul shots at the end of Monday’s win in Philadelphia were “two of the most famous free throws in Wine and Gold history!” One season after playing in the NBA Finals, qualifying for the East’s No. 4 seed with 45 wins now ranks as a watershed moment for the franchise. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
