Toronto races to a 20 point halftime lead and then allows the Magic to creep back to within 9 points with 9 mins left in the game with a three ball contest among themselves. Finally their coach slaps some sense into his players and they buckle down play smart ball down the stretch to win by 14 and get back into the series

gives us a little brEATHER BY THE MAGIC LOSING AT LEAST ONE GAME.
I'm going to have to reconsider everything I thought I knew about basketball if a team starting Nelson and Evans at the guard spots gets out of the first round.

They are sort of loaded at the 5 spot though.

I guess no one was paying much attention to this series--I know I didn't watch any of it--but the Magic took care of business and will now have at least 5 days off before the next round starts. If the Pistons go on to beat Philly, this should be a tough series as well. Orlando is obviously a lot better than they were last year, and they're playing well.

Tried to watch it but it wasn't televised. Wanted to see how my Boi was doing.

Toronto limped into the postseason and it ended very quickly for them. That's why, I guess, a lot of us would've rather Pistons faced Raptors. On the other hand, maybe Philly is the wake up call that the team needs.

I didn't even realize the series was over already. You talk about an entire series being under the radar.
Some people argue that it's bad for a young, healthy team to end a series quickly and then sit around for days losing its edge.

I believe it was Tim Donaghy that said it.
