Marvin Harrison is one of the most stand up guy's in football, atleast he was. I hope he did not have anything to do with this shooting. Although it doesn't look good since the gun used was a custom made belgian weapon and Harrison owns one.

Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home.

However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene.

I have no real background on this, but that definitely looks fishy (assuming the information given is accurate).

How could you determine that a gun had fired 7 rounds? That seems fishy to me.

Another story involving a sports figure blown out of proportion before all the facts were investigated, provided or given. It was slow day at ESPN yesterday morning so they were all over it reporting misleading information.

I think they mean that there were seven bullets found at the scene and they all matched that gun. That is easy to determine because of the unique fingerprint of each barrel and the unique patterns they leave on the bullets.

That makes sense. I thought they meant "we found this gun in a bucket of water, and were able to determine that 7 rounds were fired through it." That, in my opinion, would be impossible to determine.
