I didn't watch game one, and probably won't watch much of the series because I need some sleep.

I think Boston will win because we had to shoot 50% to win a game against those guys and because despite our defensive prowess, Boston still made tough shot after tough shot - those guys are good.

I don't think LA will defend better than we did, and I think that's what will put Boston over the top.

I'm rooting for the Celtics because I want Kevin Garnett to get his ring because I think he deserves one and the sooner he gets one the sooner I can go back to hating the Celtics. I don't want my sympathy for KG's championship hopes before he retires to drag into a multi-season saga. Just win it this time KG and that particular story line will be complete.

I can't root for the Lakers even though I do like a few of their players. But they just have too many RECENT championships to emanate any kind of underdog status for me, and I really seriously think Kobe has a massive charisma deficit.

That said, I think the Lakers will win in 6. I'd love to be proven wrong.

I want to see KG get a ring.
