I like the draft thread that ScoutingGuru created (http://www.pistonsforum.com/detroit-pistons-general-discussion/8679-lets-play-game-your-gm-clock.html):

But I thought it would be good fun to start from the first pick. Here's how it works: The first person to reply gets to start with pick number one for the Chicago Bulls. He or she gets to pick whoever they wish, as long as they give a reason. It doesn't even have to be a good reason! The less basketball-related the better, I say! Or you could be totally serious and give a good reason why you think that team would really want to pick the way you are predicting. Whoever is the next person to reply gets to do the second pick (Miami), and so on. Here's a reminder of the draft order. No trading of draft picks allowed!

1. Chicago Bulls
2. Miami Heat
3. Minnesota Timberwolves
4. Seattle Supersonics
5. Memphis Grizzlies
6. New York Knickerbockers
7. Los Angeles Clippers
8. Milwaukee Bucks
9. Charlotte Bobcats
10. New Jersey Nets
11. Indiana Pacers
12. Sacramento Kings
13. Portland Trailblazers
14. Golden State Warriors
15. Phoenix Suns (from Atlanta)
16. Philadelphia 76ers
17. Toronto Raptors
18. Washington Wizards
19. Cleveland Cavaliers
20. Denver Nuggets
21. New Jersey Nets (from Dallas)
22. Orlando Magic
23. Utah Jazz
24. Seattle Supersonics (from Phoenix)
25. Houston Rockets
26. San Antonio Spurs
27. New Orleans Hornets
28. Memphis Grizzlies (from LA Lakers)
29. Detroit Pistons
30. Boston Celtics

Please say what your number and team are before making your pick, so as to keep a semblance of order. Happy picking!!

Ok, here it goes:
At #29 I select Hahsheem Thabeet, 7-4, C, U-Conn
Hasheem Thabeet | NBADraft.net (http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/hasheemthabeet.html)

That way we as Pistons fans can say: "We got Tha-beet!"

Thanks, BDL, but I meant for the first replier to do the number one pick (i.e.: Chicago), the second to do Miami's pick, and so on. I guess everybody is too busy obsessing over ridiculous Pistons trade ideas. Some fun you guys are!

All right I will start. With the first pick Chicago selects....

Derrick Rose
6-3
Guard
205 lbs

With the success of Paul and Deron Williams compared to Bogut and Marvin Williams the Bulls will follow the winning pattern and draft the PG over the forward.
