What should the new franchise be called when the Sonics move to OK City and leave the Sonics name behind in Seattle?

My suggestions would be The Oklahoma City Tornados, Toros, Twisters or Rush (as inLand Rush).

The Laters (opposite of the Sooners)

The pan handlers (reference to the pan handle)

The dammed (in reference to the 200 dams in OK)

The Supersonics (b/c OKC produces a lot of airplanes too)

Natural Gas (2nd largest producer)


Man, this is hard.

Edit: after looking at some names being proposed by OK fans, these are the best, although not realistic:

- Dokies (ala OK Dokies)
- Outlaws

It will probably end up being something really generic.
