Anyone watching?

Josh Hamilton just obliterated the competition in the first round, pounding 28 long balls to set an all time one round record. It was incredible to watch. His pitcher was his 71 year old mentor that he has know since he was a kid.

Wow, I didn't know Hamilton was that old.

Did you know he was a Cannuckian?

OK, I just made that up... but why else would that hoser have started a thread about this?

Actually, Justin Morneau, the guy that beat him in the finals, is.

I didn't see any threads about the All-Star game, so I figured we needed at least 1!

I like the All-Star game, but I hate the Home Run Derby. It's meaningless grandstanding by whichever network is showing it. I'd rather go out and watch the grass grow than watch the Home Run Derby.

Now, if they came up with a Triples Derby, I'd watch that. Getting a triple is really difficult.

Now, if they came up with a Topless Derby, I'd watch that.

You mean in a women's league, right?

Oh yeah...right. If he was, then why isn't he playing pro HOCKEY? Everyone knows that any Cannuckian who plays sports plays in the NHL!!

My wife puts curlers in her hair at night. I've never thought of entertaining any sports ideas at that time...:)
