Yeah, I'm not feeling Cinci at all. Palmer has been getting absolutely HAMMERED this pre-season. Chad Johnson is hurting, T.J. is hurting, their pass protection is hurting. They're on the road against a very good Raven's D.

You got that right Round.
The lions showed they can be explosive on O. Last year with Martz calling the plays. They became predictable as the season went on and of course, no depth anywhere and season over.
- Now Marinate is trying to brute force the run, when clearly the league is set up for and our team is set up for passing. So until Marinate figures this out and the fact you need 600 LB + at the D-Tackles, it's going to be rough. And another thing - weren't the Bills pretty solid last week. And aren't the Jags missing some key players? It seems like a lot of folks are picking the Jags to win. Stay with it guys this stuff is fluid.

Nem, GB played Vikes last week so if GB was 34% then Vikes were 66%.
Nothing is written in stone.
Now I like the Broncs[o] at home.

You're right....I typed in the Vikings when I meant to put in the TITANS.
The TITANS got only 25% of the votes the first week.

No Ravens/Texans this weekend...bye week re-shuffleThe Texans said alternate sites for Monday night were considered, but logistics made them impossible.

The new date also affects the Cincinnati Bengals (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/cin/;_ylt=AjrliX0_XONiG4EH3NNJmKIdsLYF)’ schedule.

Houston was originally scheduled to play the Bengals on Nov. 9. Now, those teams will play on Oct. 26 and Cincinnati will take its bye week on Nov. 9, when the Texans now play the Ravens.

Baltimore had an open date on Nov. 9 on its original schedule.

The Dolphins have defeated the Chargers six consecutive times, the longest such streak by Miami over any opponent. The Chargers’ last win over Miami came in 1993.

• QB Chad Pennington (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5047/;_ylt=ApMxPSEG1.9KkJG1pqGm6O3srZJ4) went 2-0 against the Chargers when he was with the Jets. He completed 50 of 66 passes for 511 yards with three TDs and no interceptions.

The Broncos play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an interconference game Sunday at Invesco Field at Mile High. Denver has a 79-62-2 record against NFC opponents since the 1970 merger.
At home, the Broncos have gone 50-24 against the NFC, 9-6 in games played at Invesco Field. Six of those 15 games at Invesco were decided by three points or less.
Since becoming the Broncos head coach in 1995, Mike Shanahan has a 20-7 record in home games against NFC opponents. The Buccaneers have lost nine of 12 road games against AFC teams since Jon Gruden became head coach in 2002.
Denver is on pace to become the second NFL team to score 500 or more points and allow 400 or more points in the same season. And the Bucs haven’t scored 30 points on the road against an AFC team since 2002.
My pick: Denver 27, Tampa Bay 13.

Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5499/;_ylt=Aluap2kRoMcR8lJPMNatamIdsLYF) missed practice Thursday and it’s likely that he’ll miss Sunday night’s home game against New England.
Chambers, who has five touchdown catches, sprained his ankle Sunday in a loss at Miami.
Chambers said he can’t remember a similar injury putting him on the sideline.
“It really doesn’t compare because I haven’t had much the last two, three years,” Chambers said. “In the offseason, you may tweak a hamstring, you may do something but the offseason’s nothing. Whereas getting it in the thick of the season, I haven’t had this come up in an awful long time so I just gotta manage it the best way I can.”

I don't like the bet either. The Vikings need this win to stay alive. They lose to the Lions at home and they'll get boooooooed out of their place.
I always want to pick a different game than the other guy. This one has a 13 point spread. I see the Lions folding under the pressure of the Viking O-Line and D-line...A. Peterson has a big day.
I've never had luck betting for or against the Lions.

You're right, I forgot about that one. The officials said that was uncatchable. I think that's B.S. Had CJ not been knocked off his line and slowed up, he had a chance to at least make it close. That was not a clearly uncatchable ball IMO.

There was also a phantom block in the back call against Dizon on a punt return. Dizon had his hands up in the air for a good 5 yards before the Viking player made (barely) contact with HIM and yet Dizon was still called for a block in the back.

Congrats Nemo! Good game!

Still can't believe the Redskins LOST to the Rams...WOW!

thanks. I was going to take your game but you beat me to it.
I had to spend a few days mulling over choosing the Lions.
They almost won...

I did. I picked the Redskins. I gotta admit I don't put much thought into this. Lemme know if I have any outrageous picks this week...
