This is absolutely hilarious. I keep reading it and cannot figure out if the whole thing is tongue in cheek or not. Tons of great material, some of which you will probably see featured in my signatures.
Darko Rules (http://darkorules.blogspot.com/)
The Pistons may be 24-3 and have a nine game winning streak on the go, but they are completely hindering Mr. Milicic's progress as a baller. Only one course of action is acceptable at this point: New Year, New Coach. Fire Flip!!
Let's not mince words here. Flip is not doing his job. He was brought in here to help Darko develop into the NBA superstar that we all know he will eventually become.
67 seconds in two games. Counting Friday night's complete benching, it adds up to 67 seconds in three games. Ugh, I'm insulted for Darko. I don't know if it's against Blogger rules to swear on here, but I am very tempted to do it soon.
Darko managed to get 6 minutes of playing time and did not have a remarkable showing, but he did manage to score two points for the fourth straight game. What does this tell us? Darko is the NBA's Mr. Consistency! You can give him the rock and know what to expect. His production has not let up once this season.
The fact that he had two fouls in such a short amount of time suggests that he is still playing with a bit of hyperactivity, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The one silver lining that we can take away from this is the fact that Darko is still leading the league with a 100% field goal percentage!
There is sooooo much good stuff here. I think we should avoid having Darko debates and just refer both sides of an argument to this site until we figure out if this guy is a legit fan or making fun of Darko.
One more. My sides hurt...
In other news, there have been rumours of a possbile trade between Detroit and Minnesota that would send Kevin Garnett to the Pistons and Darko and Rasheed to the Timberwolves. Whoa whoa whoa, stop the presses. How unfair of trade would that be? One of the biggest future superstars in the NBA, along with a very serviceable player in Wallace, for a guy whose name is an anagram for "RENT-A-VET KING"? PUHLEEZE.
Oh yeah, Darko fans, don't shoot the messenger. I think this guy is on your side. Maybe.

I don't know man. Folks here ride the dedicated Darko fans hard. That guy would not be so (I want to say innocent but it's not the right word), "positive" about Darko in a go lucky way if he got into DMC arguments all of the time.
My favorite is your sig, and the one where he makes it sound like Sheed is just a throw-in for a KG trade.
Poor guy, I really hope Darko plays well to reward all of the time he has put into that blog.

I swear, there are at least a half-dozen PhD papers waiting to be written on the Darko phenomenon. He is basketball's El Dorado, Bigfoot and "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" all rolled up in one enigmatic package.

We all want the best for Darko...it'd be nice if he wanted that for himself :)

Darko may have some intangibles like BBen, so why wouldn't a floundering franchise like Hawks or Hornets or Lakers give their right thumb to get Darko?

That's why I registered www.humanvictorycigar.com (http://www.humanvictorycigar.com). I was going to do a Darko resource site to chronicle the rise and rebirth of the phoenix known as DMC. Then I took on this forum project, and my work life became more complicated.
So for now, the domain points here. I doubt I will ever have time to get the Darko site up.

I here Senior Fidel Castro has inquired about DMC's availability. Senior Castro wants to start growing Serbian Victory Cigars. LOL
It is fascinating witnessing the biggest bust of all time to date. Past top 3 pick busts have at least played in the league for a few years. This guy might now ever make it off the bench in any kind of real role. He may be out of the league by age 23.
I think most of the interest is in the lack of information. Its a big puzzle. Nobody really knows whats really going on. Seems to be a forbidden topic for local beat writers. They should be houding Dumars as to whats going on. Nothing.

Thursday's entry is priceless.
http://darkorules.blogspot.com/
It may well be the case that Joe is waiting until the end of the regular season to act. This is just conjecture at this point, but imagine if Joe waited until mid-April to finally get rid of Flip and then introduced Darko into the starting lineup for the playoffs? Such a move would confuse the heck out of the rest of the NBA teams, many of which have been drafting up plans for defeating Detroit in the playoffs. Introducing Darko at such a time would throw a huge monkeywrench into these plans, and these clubs would not have enough time to regroup. They would not know what hit them. The combination of Darko's talent with the element of surprise would likely lead to a second championship in three years.
Flip can have his fun for now with his silly little doghouse... but let's wait and see how much fun he will be having at season's end.

NBA teams are breaking the door down trying to trick the Pistons into giving away Darko!
Maybe JD drafted him #2 fully knowing Darko was a bust and wanted to suck them all into his trap  :eyebrows:  :P

That quote is lame. Anyone who ever visited the Detroit News forum can tell you that Lee championed the "sandbagging" theory three or four years ago. He was just ahead of his time.

To each their own.
I don't think about sandbagging. That's a parlour trick lee uses to impress the tourists.
I just find it incredibly remarkable that Darkowatcher thinks Flip is expendable, despite the record of the team thus far.

I wouldn't put it past 357/356. Lan, the quote doesn't say "sandbagging" but you interpet it as such. And BigD is quick to point the finger at Lee. Trying to excuse himself. The Flip is expendable remark is pure Leeism. But the Blog is a joke and Lee don't joke. No sence of humor. Now, I think I have a sence of humor....
...Does the writer use words like "ton" or "Rodney White" or other clues?

Hey no need to drag someone over the coals for having views different from yours.
I had the resolution to not talk Darko this year but it seems I've fallen off the horse faster than my diet. And that's damn fast. Hopefully, Darko is going to be able to deal with his disappointment over playing time and work at being able to contribute here.

anyway to answer the question from your pm yes i am the DarkoWatcher the reason my spelling and grammer is better in the blog is because i have a team of profestionals that take my rough draft and fix it up into more polished entry for publishing so rest asured DarkoRules is indeed my blog.

Darko has 22 appearances so far compared to 37 for the entire season last year. He's getting garbage minutes which is more than he got under LB. So you can't really say that Flip is keeping DMC down.
I think Darko starting to turn it around. He might not have pistons DNa but damnit, flip and joe are going to hammer it into him

Hilarious. Make no mistake, people -- we are dealing with a brilliant mind here, a sandbagger of epic proportions. Reminds me of a poster at the WorldCrossing forum who used to stick up for Mehmet Okur in fractured English and ranted against anyone who criticized "Memy." Foreign guys must make a great muse.
