The Fan just reported that Cleaves just got his walking papers from Sea-Tac. Homecoming in order?:eyebrows:

Too bad. Mateen played well in the pre-season but lately he's been a consistent healthy scratch.

Apparently he was not on a guaranteed deal anyway.

Guaranteeing that contract wouldn't have given them a tradeable commodity. It was wise to clear the roster spot.
