Jamm, he have so much to do I started another thread.
--Head Coach----I'd give JD a couple of years. I saw improvement. But we do need a strong leader. Not necessarily an ass kicker. Someone that can get the most out of what he has.
--QB-----Find a hungry winner that can move the chains. Cut Joels pay he's a backup.
--Oline-------Get a coach that can motivate. One more big piece wouldn't hurt, LG.
--RB-----not very impressed with what we have. But was any of this team well used?
--CB-----Get bigger and more athletic.
--LB-----Get bigger and more athletic.
--Sp. Teams----Let RDub do some kickoffs. He seemed more determined than Eddie. Does Eddie deserve a second chance?
--Everything else seems minor.-------------

OK we got a Head Coach. Rod Marinate. TBs Dline coach. No Head coaching experience. I guess Millen thinks he can win with ultimate Dline play. Out dated Raider thinking. Ok now let's get a good Oline coach. Oline coaches are a special bred. Once you get a good one they usually don't get fired when there is a head coach change. The continuity is too important.

Donnie Henderson is the Dee Coord. he spent the last 2 years with the Jets. His first year the Jets total points went from 23rd to 4th, giving up only 10 more than the league leading Steelers.

Larry Becktol is the Oline coach. He spent the last 12 years in GB. I guess he needed a change.

I'd love to see the Lions re-sign Backus and sign his College buddy, LG Steve Hutchinson from Seattle.

Hopefully the Martz deal isn't completely dead in the water.

Tackling dummies are cheap. :eyebrows:

DeMulling is crappy. Why do you think Indy let him go? If he was worth keeping, they would have made the commitment.

The most important position on the line is Center. As long as fat-neck Raiola is the center, this team will be mediocore at best with line play.

Yes we could get better there. What about moving Woody over and getting another body for the line?
I don't think this is a bad line. They just need to want it.
Kosier, Backus, Woody, "Freshface", Butler

Good art. in the DetNews about the JH sit. Joel wants out but wants close to starter pay, most teams of interest want JH as a backup. However he might be able to beat out A. Brooks in Oakland. If we can move him before June 14 we can get a pick. Otherwise he gets released and we get nothing but save $4.5 mil. [roster bonus] Millen thinks he can deal JH for a 1st day pick. I think we should at least get a pick back from him.

Update, JH wants to go to Miami. And Miami will give a 6th rdr in trade.
So far Millen is content to let that happen.
i think that's so weak.
A healthy young backup with 4 years of below avg. starter exp., I say is still worth a mid 2sd rdr.
I say play hard ball. Keep his rights until a team gives us his value. When we make the trade we get all of our conpensation back.[signing bonus]
2 other teams want him Denver and KC. Do him like the 9ers did T.O.
