We have already played Memphis twice, so we no longer need anyone to stop Darko....not that you can really stop Darko. You can only hope to contain him.

He's had 7 double-doubles in a row with a lot of assists to go with it.

NBA.com : Andrew Bogut Game By Game Page

No way they are going to trade this guy.

In January, he's average 18 points, almost 11 boards, 3 assists per game, half a steal, and over a block per game. Underpaid for what he's givin them now.

I'm not criticizing your trade idea especially since I have not proposed any myself. I like the idea of moving Dyess, Flip Jr. and Brezac. Tough to package them.

I'm not sold on dumping Herrmann and Hunter - the 2H Crew - yet. If Stuckey's a bust for this season, need Hunter to step in during the playoffs. Hayes is looking inconsistent to me. Can Herrmann help there?

Hayes has been so cold that I really don't see how Herrmann can do any worse. Even if he is just in the game an doesn't take any shots, it probably provides more value.

But, Herrmann's expiring contract is $1.9 vs. $1.2 for Hayes, so he has more trade value to a team that is throwing in the towel. Also, it is sort of a bad precedent to trade the FA signing. Future FA's will wonder what they are agreeing to when Joe is trying to get them to sign up.

He only bothered Dirk because Herrmann's perfumed pony tail kept flopping in Dirk's face.

Are you saying that Herrmann colors his hair?

Does he do it himself, or go to a stylist?

I think the biggest thing the Pistons need is a big SF that can shoot a little and defend a lot. Joe D used to gear his teams around the premise that they needed to have a Shaq stopper, but now I think the Pistons need a stopper for all the big SF in the East - specifically Paul Pierce and Lebron James.

I would target Golden State's Mickael Pietrus. He has fallen out of favor in SF and has said he would waive his no trade clause at this point. He is a top-flight defender that can score in spurts, but he also has some decent handles to help when Stuckey gets pressured or can't negotiate whatever defenses are throwing at him. He can also guard quality SGs if need be.

His salary is not restrictive to doing a deal (it is slightly under $3.5M) so you could throw in Flip Jr. who could succeed in the Warrior's system and any one of Jarvis, Walter or Primo.

I like AJ allright, although I don't know his game as well as of Brezec or Herrmann.
...and I believe a lot of AJ clumsiness would be gone by now, if he would get regular minutes from the beginning.

And when I say that B&H could be usefull for Pistons, it is not because I'm a fan of any of them, despite being Slovenian like Brezec...
Actually I like WHerrmann's game much more and believe he has, what's often called a 'Pistons DNA'
(despite his 'strange' hair-colour:)) - I miss that DNA very often lately (with Maxiell as an exception).

I'm also a vigorous Saunders hater and HUGE Hayes sceptic
(can see a terrifying image of him in playoffs, when defenses (should) get tighter):cold:
...but that is obvious from my other posts already.

The first part of the above quote is correct.

The second part is an example of why the first part is correct.
