I have read your posts. I guess that was the problem. I was really poking fun at your non-stop duRanting. On Durant himself, I think you have very valid points. totally incorrect. I am negatively inclined toward the sonics. My position on durant is ambivalent. have a nice day.
So, looks like Stuckey is picking up the crumbs that Durrant leaves behind. Sports | Durant turns down $70M offer from Adidas, picks Nike | Seattle Times Newspaper
They have some interesting things to say. Like Flip being "defensive-minded" coach. Chauncey: so, coach, what do we run the next play? Flip: here's the ball, Chauncey, just mind the defense
I think Afflalo will get more time than we would anticipate, primarily because of his defense, which I have no doubt about being up to NBA levels and then some.
Mejia and Stuckey can defend too. Stuckey can score the ball. Mejia can move well with the ball and rebound well-and guard small forwards. Afflalo will be hard pressed to get minutes. But hey, so far I have only seen these guys in summer league. I won't make any final judgments until I see them in three games in camp.
The only reasons why Afflalo will be limited in his minutes if Flip plays Chauncey and Rip about 35 minutes per game and Murray and Hunter get minutes. I just don't see it happening. With CB and Rip averaging around 30 minutes, Stuckey should see 20-25 and Afflalo 10-15 on regular basis. Joe will try to move Murray or keep him glued to the pine since he showed that he can't contribute to the point where should get minutes.
