At least your QB wasn't carted off the field on a strecher in the first half! NFL - Cincinnati Bengals/Kansas City Chiefs Recap Sunday September 10, 2006 - Yahoo! Sports
I saw that... that sucks. However, both of my top 2 RB's are injured. Portis is probbaly only playing back-up tommorrow, and Dominic Davis is out for the season. So I had to scramble looking for undrafted gems.
Yeah, I'm always busy on the waiver wire. If I see someone who looks to be better than someone riding my bench, I'd go for them. I follow stats a lot, and I waste a lot of time making moves. I'm not convinced it helps, but I always make a ton of moves.
WR receiver problems. Steve Smith has been out for Week 1 and now probably week 2. Now Jurevicus just broke a rib as welll. Plus my TE Shockey has been injured, and Palmer is playing injured. Somehow I only lost my about 1 last week though.
Be patient himat, those are all quality players. You don't want to make a desperation move so early in the season!
Palmer is fine so far. Keep your fingers crossed. Jurevicius, yeah that's problematic. Just try to stay in contention until he comes back. Grab that guy I just grabbed...Cotchery Also look in my thread where I was talking about a couple QB's I picked up today to back up Palmer. My kid has Smith and Jurevicius...but DON"T dump Smith. One suggestion you can consider...somebody may gamble on those 2 for a healthy receiver in a trade...but I just would give Smith a little time.He was prolly your #1 pick.
Oh no I'm not trading Palmer and Smith. I knew I took a gamble by picking them, but that was because both were arguably tops at their position. I got rid of Jurevicus for Engram though. A brkon rib will probably mess him up for a month or so. Shockey and Heap are very good as well they're staying too.
I got The Baltimore Ravens defense and it's doing great. I'm surprised no one picked there defense before me.
Will someone make a trade with me please! All my top players are available...give me your dissappointments...
Who owns Shaun Alexander in this league? Someone should pick up his backup M.Morris. Alexander is out with a broken foot. My team is hit.
Seattle plays Da Bears next week and then have a bye, so you might not get too much production out of him for the next 2 weeks. He might be worth the risk though, if you need a RB and/or you've got a guy getting you next to no points anyway.
Looks like there's a chance Alexander's foot isn't broken. Apparently God healed him. TSN : NFL - Canada's Sports Leader
Damn, Himat i thought your team was meat, picking last, but you got 2 w's! My team sux but I like my lovable losers. Watch your byes this week.
