yeah...it's too bad. This has by far been the best group of guys since the Bad Boys and if only they could've won 2-3 titles instead of just 1. However, this group is not done with quite yet so maybe they'll surprise us all and win a couple more for the city of Detroit!!

They didn't live up to their motto...."going to work". They tended to work only part-time....................

Maybe the nickname for this group of Pistons should be "part-time boys"

It started out great as far as playoff runs go. The team was making progress and getting farther in the playoffs in subsequent years from 02-04. The East was very respectable in 04 when the Pistons advanced through the playoffs and beat the Lakers. That was a great year.

The last 2 years have stained this playoff run. Clear favorites for the past 2 years and the team has not gotten it done.

5 straight ECF's and only 2 final appearances and 1 title. 2-3 in the ECF and 1-1 in the Finals. Considering that the East has not been great for 3 out of those 5 ECF's a 2-3 record is disappointing.

Its a lot better to be at this level than not but considering that they have been here more should have gotten done. Wasted opportunities and management that has rested on its laurels way too often has been the theme.
