I am surprised no one has posted this yet. Here is the 06-07 Detroit pistons Schedule!: http://www.nba.com/pistons/schedule http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/schedule_0607.html Key Dates: November 1: Opening Night. Milwaukee @ Detroit November 30: Rematch ECF. Detroit @ Miami February 25: Big Ben first return to Auburn Hills! Chicago @ Detroit
22 sets of back to backs, yes PISTONS BASKETBALL IS STILL IN EFFECT!!!! The Schedule looks worthy of a lot of great match ups, can't wait to give my monthly perdiction of how the Pistons will due. I had my best season last year and the way it looks I looking to do the same.
thats one hell of a tough march! this could be the end of the strong runs home that we've been used to.
i'll be suffering until February, but aside from that this will be a very unpredictable year in the nba............
To add insult to injury...just shoot me now & end my misery. "The NBA released its 2006-07 schedule Tuesday and rolled out the red carpet for the Miami Heat, who won the first title in franchise history last season". http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AoGREAFUkya2A5xVR4U2Uc68vLYF?slug=nbaschedule&prov=st&type=lgns
If I remember right our back to backs last year were the most in the league? So this year it says we have 2 more than last year.Thankyou Commish Stern.I didn't research are we on par with everyone else schedule wise?I can't wait,I know the season pretty much just got over but I hope the changes and new/underused players come into play to keep the run going.
More than half the season is back to backs! Ever since this team ended the 06 regular season there hasn't been a lot of good news.
LA vs Miami on Christmas Day I knew it. Someone mentioned Detroit vs Chicago...................maybe on WGN.........
I'm not hung up on Big Ben or the Baby Bulls. I want to see how the Pistons stack up against the competition. The NEW NBA competition, namely the Suns, Raptors, Pacers, Mavericks etc. We're halfway through the summer. Time to bury the ghosts of last year and embrace the call to arms of 06/07 IMO.
The NBA Media, inc still loves it stars and will showcase the good teams next season more so that poor ones. Labron, Wade, Shaq, Kobe, Dirk and Nash will be overexposed to the tune of at least 23 games each this year on national TV appearances via ABC, ESPN and TNT. Here is a list of last seasons 16 playoff teams how they will be showcased. I guess our loss of Big Ben dropped our # of appearances and DA Bulls picked up two extra games??? Cavs-24, 5 on ABC Heat-23, 5 on ABC Suns-23, 5 on ABC Mavs-23, 4 on ABC Lakers-23, 5 on ABC Pistons-21, 5 on ABC Bulls-20, 4 on ABC Spurs-17, 3 on ABC Kings-16 Nuggets-14 Clippers-12 Nets-11 Wizards-10 Pacers-8 Grizzlies-2 Bucks-1 I did not include the games on NBA TV since some fans with cable or satellite even have trouble getting it.
I don't get why we always seem to have more than everbody else. Someone said the Heat have only 13. Spurs have 18, and Mavs i think have 15? Why do we always have so many?! Isn't that a little unfair?
More than half our season is part of a back to back set. That sounds so ridiculous. Whoever comes up these schedules should be fired.
As much as I want to, I'm not going to blame this on conspiracy theories. They are working around the Palaces' schedule, which does host a LOT of events. It's the only explanation we continuously get these massive amounts of b2b's.
To steal from the great Austin Powers: "In Japan, men come first and women come second (or sometimes not at all)" Well, at the Palace, the Pistons should come first and everyone else should come second (or sometimes not at all if it means half the freaking schedule is a back to back!)
So far, Ben vs the Pistons is the most anticipated game of the season according to an espn.com poll. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2362
