Agree with you on the timing of a likely trade. Davis's contract has value because it is expiring. I DO like two of Milwakee's centers tho. Magloire and Gadzuric. Gadzuric is in that price range if Milwakee would go for it. But their rook ain't goin no-where. :ohwell:

    Mad...

I'm a big fan of Magloire. Rick Pitino once said (and I paraphrase)

"Jamaal is the only player I have ever coached that I thought might punch me in the face"

Now, that might not seem like team spirit, but as a casual player, I can testify to the intimidation factor established by that kind of player.

I'm all for it. bring some toughness and attitude to the Pistons.

Could the Pistons trade Mohammed so quickly anyway? I was thinking you couldn't trade newly signed players for some length of time after acquiring them. Or did I just make that up?

3 months or Dec. 15th, whichever comes later.

Sign and Trades are the exception because they are basically a simultaneous transaction.

The interview with Davidson was interesting... basically said that he would pay a Max contract... they should have asked if he'd go into the Lux threshold....
If we had Wade or Bron he'd pay the Max... should be interesting to see what Darko's next contract will be... someone will overpay for a young big.
It's good to see the media put a little pressure on Mr D.

I don't know about that Merc. I read it differently. He said Davidson was "coy" (unwilling to make a commitment) when making that comment. The old dude sidestepped the issue.:bolt:
